Planning a wedding while under the scrutiny of the public eye was no small feat, but Sineáse and Lyle were determined to make it work. They wanted the day to be about them, about their love and the journey they had taken to get here. Erik was a constant presence, his calm, steady support helping them navigate the challenges of media attention and public perception.
"We've been through worse," Erik reminded them one evening as they sat together, poring over wedding plans. "This is just another hurdle. And you'll get through it, together."
Lyle nodded, his hand resting on Sineáse's. "He's right. We've faced so much already. This is just one more step."
Sineáse felt a surge of gratitude for both brothers, for the strength and resilience they had shown throughout everything. "I just want our wedding to be about us, not about what everyone else thinks."
"And it will be," Lyle assured her, his voice filled with determination. "No matter what, this is our day. It's about our love, our future."
With Erik's help, they managed to keep the details private, planning an intimate ceremony with only their closest family and friends. As the day drew closer, Sineáse felt a mixture of excitement and nerves, but more than anything, she felt ready—ready to take this step, to build a life with the man she loved.
The weeks leading up to the wedding were a whirlwind of activity. Sineáse and Lyle spent countless hours choosing the perfect location, finalizing guest lists, and planning every detail of the ceremony and reception. They wanted everything to be perfect, to reflect the love and commitment they had for each other.
One afternoon, as they were sitting together, reviewing the seating arrangements, Lyle looked up, his eyes filled with a mix of excitement and uncertainty.
"I've been thinking," he began hesitantly. "About where we want to live after the wedding."
Sineáse glanced at him, curiosity piqued. "What do you mean?"
"I know we've talked about starting fresh, about finding a place that's just ours," he said, his voice steady. "And I've been looking into a few places. Newport, Rhode Island, came up, and I thought it might be perfect for us. It's quiet, beautiful, and it's far enough away from everything that we can really have a fresh start."
Her heart skipped a beat at the thought of starting their new life together in a place as picturesque as Newport. She had always dreamed of living by the ocean, of waking up to the sound of the waves and the smell of salt in the air.
"Newport sounds perfect," she said softly, her eyes shining with excitement. "I'd love that."
Lyle's face broke into a wide smile, relief and joy flooding his expression. "I'm glad you think so. I want this new chapter to be everything you've ever dreamed of, Sineáse. I want to build a life with you that's filled with love and happiness."
They spent the rest of the evening talking about their future, about the home they wanted to build and the family they hoped to have. It felt like a dream, a beautiful, shared vision of the life they were creating together.
The night before the wedding, Sineáse found herself unable to sleep, her mind racing with thoughts of the day ahead. She stepped out onto the balcony of their hotel room, the cool night air soothing her nerves.
"Couldn't sleep either?"
She turned to see Erik standing at the door, his expression gentle and understanding.
"I guess I'm just a little nervous," she admitted, smiling sheepishly.
He nodded, coming to stand beside her. "That's understandable. Tomorrow's a big day."
