[ Morganton ]

She left me speechless, and I realised that tears were starting to fall down coming from my eyes. I was full of sadness, confusion, and frustrations. The way she pushed me away hurt me so bad because I wanted to be just there for her and communicate with her properly.

"Morganton," a girl uttered my name while I was already kissing her neck. She pulled me into a room with her, and I just gave in. I didn't even know where Maure and June were already. 

"Fuck me, please," she suddenly begged, which made me pause. I found myself stopping from hovering on top of her. Like, my mind and heart were declining the idea.

"I'm sorry," she sounded hesitant. "I shouldn't have said that."

"Go, buy yourself a drink." I gave her a thousand as I opened my wallet. "I can't do this; I'm sorry." I continued before walking away, not letting her answer. 

I immediately took a cab because I decided to just not bother June and Maure with their own businesses in the bar. When I got home, both of my parents were sitting down seriously in the living room's sofa. It was already late, and I was surprised that they were still there, looking stressed.

"Where have you been?" I heard my dad's most serious tone.

"The bar, I was hanging out with Maure and Ju—"

"You caused trouble earlier in school?" My mom interrupted me with a question, her eyebrows furrowed.

"God, Morganton, what is wrong with you?" My dad stressfully asked me.

Everything's wrong with me.

"It's an accident," I tried to reason out, but I failed because of their comments.

"Accident? The guy's face was bruised badly! And his dad is one of my business partners, Morganton! What the hell are you thinking?" My dad immediately reacted, standing up in front of me.

"Hun, it's fine; calm down. We will fix this, okay?" My mom to the rescue stood up next to him.

"They sexualized Adeline—"

"And so what, huh?! You could've just told the guidance office formally! You didn't have to physically abuse him."

"I can't!" I held my head frustratedly, trying to control my temper.

"Why can't you fucking do it right, Morganton?! For godsake, you're so smart! Why do you act so dumb in that kind of situation?!" My dad lost it; I was already looking so down in front of him.

"You have a thing going on with your professor, huh?! Fuck!" My mum couldn't stop him anymore. I immediately stood up when he said that.

"I'm sorry, okay?!" I was stopping my tears from flowing so hard while facing him. "I'm sorry! For fucksake, I've always been dumb to you! And this... this anger issue I got is from you, dad." I failed when I felt my tears going out. 

"Adeline... Adeline is important to me. You... and mom don't know everything!" I picked up my bag and stormed out from the living room. 

When I got in my room, I started breaking down. I wanted to pour out all of my bad energies already. 

"Goddamn, you're so genius, good-looking, and rich, Morganton! Why are you still so stupid and messed up in times with Adeline?" I was talking harshly to myself while crying. 

I found myself picking up my phone. I wanted to text Caius, but something stopped me.

Adeline came to mind.

I thought I was going to ignore her, but I kept failing with the idea.

Morganton: i need you. why can't you be here just for once?
