What Did I Do To Deserve It?

A/N This is a random one I just came up with. Just read it. Peter is 22 now. Avengers don't know who Spidey is behind the mask, but they all live together. No one knows who he is.

3rd POV

Tony, Hey guys ready for movie night?

Exclaiming exchanged around the group.

Clint, Hey where's Spidey?

They all suddenly get into defensive position when they hear a thump come from the window. They all lower their weapons when they see it's just Spidey.

Spidey, Hey Tony! Could you uhm open the window plz?

They all hold in laughs as he falls in flailing his arms for balance when the window opens.

Clint, Hey wanna join for movie night?

Spidey, Uhm no I'm sorry I'm just gonna go to bed sorry guys I'm just kinda *yawns* tired. Good night everyone.

He walks to his room and closes the door, and everyone immediately starts talking.

Nat, That is suspicious he never misses movie night especially when tonight its his turn to pick!?

Tony, Yeah that is weird. Hey maybe... FRIDAY check local news channels especially the Daily Bugle for reports on Spider-man?

FRIDAY, Spider-man has gone against 4 of his major villains today and The Daily Bugle Live casted it at all. Even a reporter Mary Jane got an interview with him.

Nat, FRIDAY play the footage...

Mj, This is Mary Jane Live for the Daily Bugle. Spider-man has been spotted swinging high above the rooftops this evening and I intend to get an interview. He faced off against The Vulture, Rhino, Electro, and Doc Ock earlier today as he was protecting our beloved city. Tony, He fought almost all of his major villains today, AND did an interview damn that explains why he's so tired.

Bruce, Maybe he needs a break?

*The Interview*

This is Mary Jane live on the Daily Bugle it's the Spider-man. So tell us Spidey you've been doing this vigilante gig for about 8 years now. Could you tell us some insights about what and how you feel about being called a hero and or menace by the public?

Spidey, Well Mj it's a lot of work and being called a hero is great and all but sometimes I wonder what have I done to deserve it. As you said I'm also mentioned as a menace and I am getting a glare from Jj right now, and to a lot of people I'm considered a menace, a joke, or any other names you people call me. But regardless I don't discriminate against anyone and if needed I will put my life on the line for every person here no matter who.

Mj, Spider-man what ever makes you think you don't deserve the title of a savior let alone our hero?

Spider-man, Honestly I think being a hero doesn't mean fame, money, or the thrill. I gotta be completely honest here I honestly don't have any of those things except for adrenaline. I'm technically an Avenger and have money now but I never use it to my advantage. I am popular but not necessarily famous. Being a hero means being willing to help anyone and everyone no matter what the cost. Take myself as an example I just started out as a guy in a red hoodie. Anyone can be a hero if they want to help for the right reasons. But I just don't think I'm worthy of the title. Not until I make sure my city and the world is as safe as possible until the day I leave to heaven or hell. Now I might have to go or Stark might kick my ass for being late again. He laughs as he swings out.

Mj, Well you heard it here live folks our hero and so called menace is no doubt an amazing person whoever he is behind the mask. Maybe one day we'll be able to thank whoever it is. This is Mary Jane signing off.

Everyone just stares at the TV.

Sam, Damn he said all of that and still doesn't believe he deserves to be called a hero?

Tony, Who knows at this point.

Bruce, ...having such a mind set? Maybe we should do something about this. I don't know why I just feel like after all that he's done he deserves a little I don't know recognition, praise maybe? He goes on Avenger missions now and I'm pretty sure he helps them more than us at least on the daily.

Steve, Bruce isn't wrong. Spider-Man constantly saves everyone and I don't think anyone has actually given him a proper thank you. I mean hell (language!) he's called a menace right now.

Clint, Maybe we could do something for him?

Nat, Hm yeah that could do.

Steve, Alright next mission show Spidey he's worth it and a hero.
