"Twinkle is missing" My brain went blank hearing the news. Mr. Mehta was a sobbing mess. I can feel his pain through the phone. It sounded exactly like Nana, when he found me in hospital, fighting for my life.
This is not the time for this. Get a fucking grip on yourself Rathi.
"Mr. Mehta. Please calm down. Do not panic as it will not help but aggravate the situation tenfold. Please come to your area police station and file FIR copy. I will be there soon" I said and cut the call to find my family looking at me.
"What happened ma?" dad asked with the concerned face.
"Dad, Twinkle Mehta is missing. I am going to see Mr. Mehta." I said and stood up.
"Anand call Banu to our office with Mr. Mehta's file and Rishi you come with me. Rave, Rudra sorry guys, I have to go now. You know it's urgent." I said, looking at them apolitically.
