Rathi POV:
"This court appreciate Mr. Adhidev Khannan's act and thoughtfulness. Mr. Adhidev Khannan is proved to be innocent. You can go and continue your life with pride." Judge declared and the real culprit behind all this was arrested. If wasn't for Acharya sir, a not so innocent yet innocent in this case could be punished.
I turned around to find Twinkle threw herself in Adhidev's arms, with tears streaming down her eyes. Jaanu, Maahi, Jumbo and Aaryan looking looking at them with a smile. Mr. Karan Mehta still looked very distraught about the whole thing, meanwhile Raghu Khannan was standing near Tara Khannan with their Daughter, looking at everything. Sweetie and Krishna are missing and even Laila is not here. May be three of them would be outside. Ranajay Raghuvanshi was sitting aside. Like a king. As if watching a show.
"Well I did not expect such a ending." Banu mumbled in disbelief, dragging my attention back to her.
"Here, have some water, Banu" Anand handed her glass of water, which she drank it in a go. Acharya sir made his way to me and smiled.
"Happy with this ending?."
"I never expected such ending sir. How did you find it?" I asked still flushed about the twist in the case.
"Well yesterday, when Adhidev found out about Twinkle's disappearance. Even he did not expected it. It came out as a shock even to us." he replied making me think back to the bugs I found in my office.
So Khannan did not kept those bugs in the office, but still I can't get rid of this suspicion.
"Anyways everything ended on a happy note. Why don't you join us for lunch, sir?." I requested, to which he declined.
"No Saindhu. I have to go back. We will have some other time. I left everything back there in hurry. Have to go back and take care of it. Take care and you two. Stop all your mischievousness and be serious. I am leaving" He bid farewell and gave me a tight hug.
My eyes teared. He is like a big brother I never had. He was with me when I was at my lowest. He have seen my most vulnerable stage and reborn phase.
Soon Anand and Banu joined and we chorused, "We will miss you sir"
"I miss you too kids. Take care" he said and left from there.
"Let's go." Jumbo came to me and we left from the court room.
Outside, media were interviewing Adhidev Khannan, who was escaping with everyone and Twinkle in his arms without answering their question.
Acharya sir was surrounded by them. His face was ice cold and eyes blank. He hated media more than anything else. Well they created a lot of mess in his personal life. Can't really blame him.
