Blinking away the light that intruded her vision, Suisei struggled to breathe after what happened before the teleportation.
'Shit...' She tried to take a deep breath. 'What was that? Those words that I uttered... They completely destroyed my voice...'
"You good..?" Next to her, Towa tapped her shoulder, and Suisei felt her throat soothing as a warm light enveloped her.
"T-Thanks..."
Suisei then looked around, finding herself standing on a rooftop. The blue skies made it seem as if what had happened was all a dream.
"Towa... Where are we?"
"... I don't know," Towa admitted. "I was planning to warp us to the Underworld, but my spell was hijacked."
Towa became alert as she scanned their surroundings.
'... This place looks like Japan...'
Towa couldn't help but peek at Suisei, recalling the one known as Sana.
'Did she hijack my spell? If she did so... Does it mean that even the Underworld wasn't safe? But well, that's only if I truly believe Sana isn't an enemy...'
While harbouring such thoughts, Towa's eyes stopped at a giant advertisement billboard in front of her.
"Is that..."
Suisei followed Towa's glance and what she saw definitely made the former do a double take.
"Does that say... 2021?" Suisei murmured. "We aren't in our own time?"
"..." Towa frowned. With the evidence of them being in a time that wasn't their own, it likely meant that the two had transcended dimensions.
This confirmed Towa's guess of Sana being the culprit. Before Towa could further gather her thoughts however, Suisei gasped.
"Is that a gun?!"
Pointing below to the busy streets, Suisei wore a surprised expression.
A pink haired girl was rushing through the allies, with what seemed to be a gun in her grasp. Leaping behind a trashcan, she then fired at the group of men behind her.
"Shit!"
The girl cursed before continuing to run. Suisei then turned towards Towa with a serious expression.
"She's--"
"I know," Towa hissed before gathering mana into her hands. "Hold onto me!"
After ensuring Suisei had grabbed onto her arms, Towa spread open her devil wings before descending at a rapid pace.
In a span of seconds, Towa landed between the girl and the group of men, taking everyone by surprise.
"What the fuck--"
Before the men could react, Towa whispered.
"Sleep."
The group of men collapsed altogether at once, having fallen into a deep sleep. Realising that something strange was going on, the girl pointed her gun at the two.
"Who the hell are you two?!"
"-!" Suisei tried to pacify the girl. "Akutan! Don't you recognise me?!"
Suisei's words were the reason the two rushed to aid this girl. For some reason, this girl with a gun resembled Aqua, almost as if they were twins.
Towa knew the reasoning behind this however.
'She's probably the Minato Aqua from this world that we found ourselves in.'
