Zeta breathed heavily as she leaned against a wall. Blood rolled down her forehead as she struggled to even stand.

"Master!"

Materialising next to Zeta, Mordred looked at the former with concern.

"Saber..." Zeta exhaled. "Stay alert for any enemies..."

After saying that, Zeta reached for her phone. Then, she froze.

'It's... 7AM?'

It was apparent to Zeta that she had lost track of time after suffering from the severe explosion that the Blessed ones caused.

However, it wasn't the fact that she skipped through so many hours in a confused state that left her concerned.

"It's 7AM... but the sun is still not out..."

Looking into the skies, Zeta could tell that it was dark out, which was the reason why she initially believed it to be around 1AM.

"Master!" Mordred exclaimed in panic as she grabbed Zeta before dodging a laser attack that burned a large scar into the ground.

"Ngh!" Using her hands to back flip to a combat stance, Zeta watched as a familiar face descended in front of her.

Seeing the enemy, Zeta's eyes widened in surprise.

"Moona?!"

Moona remained silent as she gathered lunar energy in her hands. In response, Mordred leaped in front of Zeta, summoning Clarent just as Moona fired the energy beam at them.

"HAH!" Mordred sliced the beam apart, only to suddenly find herself facing Moona's fist.

"Die," Moona declared coldly, smashing through Mordred's helmet. The servant crashed across the streets from the powerful impact.

"MOONA!" Zeta snapped as she threw several red crystals at Moona. "Triple Mystical Fire!"

At Zeta's chant, three powerful explosions engulfed Moona. Knowing that it wasn't enough to beat Moona, Zeta immediately turned around, trying to escape.

Unfortunately, Moona recovered faster than she expected, and appeared in front of Zeta. The latter hissed as she backed up, sweat mixing with the blood on her forehead.

"Moona..."

"It's over," Moona pointed a finger at Zeta.

L'S POV
---

L and Suisei watched as Towa cast several preventive spells around the warehouse they currently hid themselves in.

Matsuri was unconscious and tied up in the corner as L removed her gas mask. She swept her hair to the side as Suisei was watching her with awe.

"I checked this hideout. There's no listening bugs or anything."

"... You really look like Akutan..." L heard Suisei say. She then raised an eye as she looked towards the blue haired girl.

"I guess I do. More importantly, don't you have anything to ask me?" L narrowed her eyes, addressing Towa, who was now looking at her in suspicion.

"That's right," Towa frowned. "How did you know about the ambush?"

L tapped her finger on her thighs.

"Would you believe me if I told you I can see the future?" L then closed her eyes. 'Well, it's less that and more of the fact that I can reset myself to the start of each day, but that's not important.'

"... I suppose I have to believe you, since that's the only reasonable explanation, unless you are  a spy."

"A spy, huh?" L chuckled. "It's unlikely though. After all, you two are the ones from another world, not me."
