The entrance.
Narrators POV
——————————

Fyodor Dostoevsky was captured by the port mafia, but one night he suddenly disappeared

Nobody knew where he went or when exactly he escaped

A few weeks passed, and the port mafia discovered the theory; there was a presumably unknown and abandoned base in the highlands, were they suspected that Fyodor may have escaped to.

Now, the port mafia and armed detective agency agreed to cooperate together to try catch the rat.

Dazai was driving the car, which seemed like a bad idea. But surprisingly he has a drivers license, and he isn't that bad of a driver as everyone originally thought.

In the car, alongside Dazai Osamu were also Atsushi Nakajima and Ryunosuke Akutagawa. They were sitting in the back, the space in between them was as big as it could get in this small car.

"Mr Dazai... Why do I have to team up with.." Atsushi gazed at Akutagawa swiftly, but then looked back at Dazai "him..? He looks like he'll just attack me when he has the chance..."

"Well Atsushi-kun-" Dazai started, but a voice interrupted.

"I have a name, you know man-tiger" Akutagwa interfered with sass.

"Oh, come on! Do you want to capture Dostoevsky or not? We have to get him this time..." Dazai was interrupted by his own yawn. "Boss himself decided with Mori-san that we should team up for a while."

Dazai pulled another all-nighter just because Mori wanted him to find more info.

Meaning now he was tired.

And Dazai literally didn't get any more useful information, he got distracted by an ad of an online game with kitties.

Which of course he played and then showed to Ranpo..

"My name isn't man-tiger." But Atsushi let out a deep sigh of defeat, knowing Akutagawa wouldn't drop the nickname anytime soon. "never mind." Atsushi looked back at the floor.

Atsushi looked out of the car window, they were on some road by multiple mountains, away from the city.

Akutagawa suddenly spoke, asking Dazai a question that both him and secretly Atsushi were wondering about. "When will we get there? It's taking a while to get there already, I want to catch him already."

"You shouldn't go on a killing spree, Akutagawa-kun. It'll cause more problems and you'll be discovered straight away." Dazai paused "and no one knows how strong our enemies will be, if you stop paying attention to anything but killing then you're prone to get injured."

That shut Akutagawa up, he had a spec of pink colour coming up and onto his cheeks. He was embarrassed.

Dazai looks at his laptop, which was sitting wide open at a 102 degree angle on the front passenger chair.

"We'll arrive in around 5 minutes"

Dazai then let out a groan.

"Wait never mind.. I just missed the turn.." he paused and just stopped in the middle of the dead road.

He just turned the car around, which isn't the most safe thing to do on a road that you can go 80MPH on.

"That isn't the best idea.. Dazai-san.." Atsushi slowly said in concern.

Dazai then rode the car in silence for 5 minutes, he suddenly stopped at the side of the road.

"This is it. It should be somewhere to the west." Dazai spoke.

"Listen here, you both." He started "Dostoevsky isn't someone to play around with. Remember all his tricks I told you about on the way here, and watch out."

He then turned to Akutagawa

"And no leaving each other behind, understand?" He raised his eyebrow "that's an order Akutagawa-kun."

"Fine." Akutagawa miserably muttered, as if it pained him to work alongside his enemy.

"We'll call you if we need anything Dazai-san..!" Atsushi spoke

"Good luck you both." Dazai said before Atsushi and Akutagawa exited the vehicle.

They walked west for a bit, until they found a weird looking, but big entrance door which merged with the mountain, which was closed and was most likely made out of steel.

The boys hid behind the bushes and trees, observing.

There were 10 guards standing at the door, clearly they were bored.

"I'll go from behind." Akutagawa suddenly spoke

"We're supposed to work together Akutagawa..!" Atsushi wanted to shout it out, but he couldn't attract much attention to the bushes because the guards would've been able to hear.

But before Atsushi said anything else, Akutagawa was already gone.

"RASHOMON." A shout could be heard.

Akutagawa leaped upon the door and slashed through every guards body so easily.

"Come now." Akutagawa said in annoyance towards the bushes where Atsushi was standing.

"We could've done it together!" Atsushi shouted, now that there was no one to stop him.

Atsushi ran over, he was a bit annoyed.

"I don't need to be fighting alongside you, you're lucky Dazai-san told me not to fight you." He said in his usual sassy tone.

Akutagawa used his Rashomon to make a hole through the steel door.

"My Rashomon eats through all in its path. My black beast eats through all its encounters, even if that something is space itself. I don't need the help of some man-tiger that doesn't know how to fight properly."

Atsushi was startled, "I do know how to fight! I would've bet you last time if we weren't interrupted!"

That 'last time' was before the two organisations cooperated to catch Dostoevsky.

It was around two months ago.

Inside it was a corridor that looked never-ending. It was long and dimly lighted by the lights that were spread along the ceiling.
