Will it be okay? • Atsushi x Akutagawa

Chapter five

A stir in its heart.
Narrators POV

Atsushi unbuttons Akutagawa's shirt and lets out a sigh of relief but is also a quite a bit surprised that he has a vague outline of a 6 pack

Akutagawa realised that he was looking at his abs for a couple of good seconds there

The wound wasn't deep, but Atsushi still worried.

He took some bandages from his backpack and started to slowly roll it around his wounded waist.

Akutagawa groaned when Atsushi moved a bit quicker.

"Sorry.."Atsushi whispered an apology.

"Make it quick, man-tiger." Akutagawa said in his normal monotone voice, but he was very subtly blushing once again.

After Atsushi was done with the dressing, he spoke.

"Okay all done, it should be fine now.. I think." He paused "is it too tight or anything?"

"No, it's fine man-tiger."

"That's good. Does the wound feel any better?"

"I guess."

"Okay."

Akutagawa tried standing up by himself but his body refused to. "Let's go now man-tiger." He spoke.

"Are you sure you'll be alright?" Atsushi asked in concern

Seeing Atsushi's concern rise made Akutagawa a bit more embarrassed. "I don't need care, and we have to go."

Atsushi sighed and held his hand out to him. "Okay then, let's continue."

He paused but spoke again. "But take it easy Akutagawa."

When helping Akutagawa up, he stumbled and Atsushi caught him in his arms. Their faces were so close that they nearly kissed.

They both blushed, before quickly turning away. Akutagawa moved a bit away from Atsushi.

Akutagawa couldn't get one thought out of his head, when Atsushi blushed, why did he look so.... Weirdly cute?

He didn't think that he found Atsushi attractive, but strangely enough he was slowly realising the beauty of this tiger.

"Thanks." Akutagawa spoke, thanking him for catching his sore body.

But Atsushi was surprised to see the smallest and most subtle, yet visible of you looked close enough, smile on Akutagawa's face...

Atsushi then answered him "Huh? O-oh it's nothing."

But then Akutagawa quickly turned his head towards his right.

"ATSUSHI." He shouted

Akutagawa quickly blocked a bullet that was going towards Atsushi, using Rashomon.

There was more guards deeper in the corridor, though those ones had armour..

"Keep your guard up!" But when Akutagawa tried to speed towards the guards, he was reminded of the sharp pain in his waist.

"Let me take care of it!" Atsushi shouted as he used his ability and turned into the snow-white tiger he is known for.

He effortlessly defeated the soldiers, but more kept coming.

"AKUTAGAWA!" Atsushi ran over to him in his tiger form, "Come onto me, quick!"

Akutagawa used Rashomon to help himself get up onto the tiger.

Atsushi then quickly changed directions, the guards were coming in from the right, but there was a narrow corridor that went left.

So he ran there.

Akutagawa held on tightly.

It was so weird riding on your own rival...

The corridor ended after not long of running, now it looked more like the inside of a factory.

There was a bridge, multiple bridges in fact. It looked like it had multiple stories as well.

The railings didn't look very stable, the floor had a grid like pattern and was made out of metal.

The whole place now looked like a factory more than a bunker or base.

"HERE THEY ARE!" A soldier at the end of the corridor shouted

"You're a tough ride, man-tiger." Akutagawa coughed.

"Hold on Akutagawa..!"
