He had forgotten how hard life in the streets was. How many days was it now since he had walked away from the human's house. His home. Jin laughed at himself for ever believing that he, a stray cat, could have a home and human to call his.
His face hurt from the scratches he had gotten from the street fight he had been before with a random cat who had gotten defensive with him. How was Jin supposed to know what territory belonged to what cat when he hadn't been out in the streets in a long while. He was walking  around the sidewalk of a house when a cat lunged at him and began bitting and scratching at him. Jin had done his best to fight off his attacker but he hated to admit that he was getting old and his reflexes weren't the same as when he was a young cat. His lack of exercise also played a role in his slow moves. He remembers his human grabbing him and calling him his chunky cat while rubbing his belly. As much as it hurt to admit but he had let himself go as a cat, when did he get too comfortable with his human and the life he had living by the human's side? I guess he never expected to be abandoned by his human. The fight had gotten very vicious with the cat attacker coming really close to injuring his right eye when he saw a ball of gray fur coming running to them.
The next thing he knew he was hearing a combination of ear screeching hissing and cat belting meows from the cat attacker and the gray cat. Jin was definitely bleeding, he could feel the damage that the other cat had did to him. He also noticed that the gray cat had come to his rescue and when he recognized the cat he let out a whimper sob. He was going to jump in to help his friend fight off the cat when he saw the attacker cat run off.
"Yoongz, you okay? Please tell me you are okay." Jin asked as he walked closer to the gray cat.
"I'll survive. Jin you look like shit, what happened? You're lucky I was passing by when I saw you getting attacked." Yoongi replied as he started licking Jin's wounds.
Jin leaned into the touch and although his wounds stung, he let himself be cleaned by his friend.
"I've been running to survive yoongi, literally. I had forgotten how hard it is being a street cat. I hate it. My face and body hurts right now." Jin whimpered.
"Of course it hurts, you're missing half a ear on your left side and your body is covered in scratches and bite marks." Yoongi responded and continued licking his friend's fur.
"I want to go back Yoongi. I want to go back to cookie."
"You need a place to stay the night first. Come follow me, I found a house that has some good patio chairs we can sleep on tonight."
Into the night, two small silhouettes could be seen as they walked beside each other. The story of those two cats to be left uncertain since every day and night would be a challenge for them to survive.

"Have you gone looking for him in the animal shelters?" Hoseok asked.
Jungkook passed his hands from his hair to his face in a frustrated gesture.
"I have, I haven't found him."
"Perhaps you don't recognize your own cat." Hoseok said.
Jungkook looked at his coworker with a bewildered face that slowly turned to anger.
"How the hell am I not going to recognize my cat. I've had him for seven years, he's become my family."
Hoseok looked at his friend with pity and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"You'll find him. I know you will."
