Humans are interesting creatures.
Jin saw the young couple screaming at eachother as they pointed fingers at eachother while he sat on the floor of the back porch watching through the glass door leading to the backyard. He saw the female scream at the male as she walked towards said male and began hitting his chest. The young man stayed quiet enduring the hits until he wrapped his arms around her. Jin saw amused as both humans cried together as they held eachother all while standing in the middle of their living room.
Humans are interesting creatures he didn't understand and would never understand.
Jin stood up on all four's and walked away. For today, he wouldn't be getting his share of milk and bread from the female. But he didn't need to worry, the old grandma that lived two blocks away always had time for him and fed him.
He thanked all the pretty lights in the pretty sky at night that he was a cat.
Jin walked towards the place where the old lady lived and made his way around to the back porch. He meowed as high as he could since he knew that the old lady was bad at hearing. He kept meowing until he heard steps coming towards him. The old lady didn't have a see through door like the young couple so he couldn't see who was coming, although he was pretty confident that the old lady would open the door. He gave his best kitty eyes as he looked up at the door. He gave one last soft meow as the door was opened. Jin's little nose twitched as an unfamiliar scent hit his nose. A young male was looking at him disapprovingly, his hair caterpillars on top of his eyes scrunched down into a frown.
"What the hell are you?" Jin heard.
He scoffed and stood up and walked around in a circle showing the young male that he was a cat.
"Does grandma have a cat?"
Jin saw as the male closed the door on his face and heard his steps walk away.
Jin felt insulted. Never in a million years had a door been so rudely closed in his face by a human. Jin stood on his two hind legs and began scratching at the door. Where was the little old lady who always gave him food? Why was this rude human in her house?
He kept scratching at the door until he heard light steps walking towards the door. He sar down and waited for the door to be opened.
"Oh poor kitty. Did kookie not let you in?"
Jin saw as the old lady bent down to grab him and carry him in her arms as she scratch behind his ear. The old lady carried him inside her home.
Cookie? Who was cookie?
"Grandma, you shouldn't pick up strays. He might have rabies or fleas. He might bite you or scratch you."
Jin saw the male walking towards them as he tried to get a hold of him.
Jin hissed at the approaching hand.
"See. Exactly what I meant grandma. He's a rabid animal. Let him out of the house."
Jin was seriously not liking this new human and he only hoped that the old lady would not listen to him. Much to his relief, the old lady defended him.
