I have been thinking a lot lately about the kind of pressure everyone has been under to stay strong and show more positivity, even when going through hell. People are expected, almost always like the sun, even during the darkest clouds with thunderstorms coming down. But then there comes the realization that it is okay to cry. It is okay to cry. And I find myself thinking that tears may heal. It is as though rain is washing out the dirt and grime of the heart, clearing it out, and leaving it fresh. And sometimes we cry, just to feel the emotions inside of us, make ourselves cry, and feel the pain and the sadness—whatever it is that's weighing us down. And in doing that, we create some space to process through that feeling. So, if you feel like crying, then cry. Let the tears flow. It's a natural and healthy way to express oneself and find healing. Remember, no one is lonely alone. All are saddened and hurt together, and it is all right to vent it out.
