CHAPTER NINETEEN
Alana
*SMUT WARNING*
I slid down off the table and checked the cauldron that was cooking on the fire. Stirring it around as it boiled and the smell was exactly what I'd hoped it would be. I pulled the meat from the pot and put it into a plate and cut it up, putting some of the broth on top of it with vegetables that were fresh from the garden. Serving it with a good crunchy bread that would absorb all the broth and juices.
Cregan didn't pay any mind to the food I placed in front of him. He only looked at me and shook his head. "How are you walking? And how are you not even bleeding?"
That was when it hit me... He thinks this is my first time. "I have a high pain tolerance." It's not completely a lie. I've become numb to my cramps that I get with my bleed after feeling contractions from having Joffrey.
He tilts his head back and smirks. "You took it so well.."
"I know." I push the plate closer to him. "Eat. I won't tell you again."
Putting his head down and taking the bread he uses that to eat what's in front of him. I sit down myself across from him with my own plate but I'm hardly hungry. I look at the table and can't deny what just happened here in this little honeymoon cottage that Cregan's father had built for his mother just because he loved her.
I know I have to try to choke some of this food down but really my mouth is dry and my core is soaking wet thinking about all the different ways Cregan can move his tongue between my thighs, all over my chest, and into my mouth. I somehow managed to keep my gown on. I told Cregan I was "insecure" and not ready to fully show myself to him yet.
He understood.
In truth, he's already pointed out one of my scars on my hip from being pregnant with Joffrey. He thinks someone had hurt me and if he saw the others that traveled around my naval, although light in color, he'd think that someone had truly harmed me. There aren't many as most have faded since then but I don't want him to ask more questions about it.
Dinner comes and goes in a blur. I can tell Cregan still feels the wine but not as strongly as he did before eating. My entire body almost felt as though I was sitting on a cloud but it's not from the wine. I sobered up the moment his tongue collided with my core.
Night had already changed the sky from a beautiful sunset to a sky full of stars. I went outside to gather more wood for the fireplace and Cregan had followed me out there. He set up a ladder on the side of the house and motioned for me to follow him.
"Lord Cregan that doesn't seem safe."
He scoffs. "What are you? A baby?"
I ignore him and put the firewood into the house. He takes me by the hand and drags me outside. We end up in the center of the meadow and he lays down a fur blanket. Laying down on his back and patting the side of him.
I lay down next to him on my back as well and he points up to the stars in the sky. They glisten like small diamonds in the deep blue sky. One passes overhead quickly.
"Make a wish." Cregan says fast.
He shuts his eyes and mutters something I can't understand.
I say mine aloud in Valyrian knowing he can't understand it. I wish for my son. It's stupid. It's not a real wish but it's what I want more than anything. To be with Joffrey again and hold him tightly in my arms.
