"Nick, where are you?" Charlie asks while walking around the house to look for Nick.
"Yeah? I'm in the spare bedroom!" He says as Charlie walks to the room
"What are you doing in here?" Charlie asks coming to sit down on the floor next to Nick
"I'm just looking at the photo album mum gave to me when we moved in here together" Nick says looking over to Charlie who has now put his head on his shoulder
"I keep forgetting how cute you were!" Charlie says with a smile
"You were adorable too!"
"Anyways Tara and Darcy just had their baby!" Charlie says while pulling up the messages between him and Darcy.
"Oh really?"
"Yeah, they want us to come visit"
"When?"
"Umm I think whenever."
"Okay do you want to go now?"
"If you want too!"
So, they both get up off the floor and head to the car and about five minutes later they get to the hospital and head up into the room as soon as they open the door they are greeted with smiles from Tara and Darcy.
"Hey guys thank you for coming!" Tara says as she takes a bite of food
They both say their hellos to Tara and Darcy and see that Darcy is holding the baby
"Hey, want to meet your niece?" Darcy says moving over so Nick and Charlie can sit next to them and see the baby.
"So, what's the name?" Nick asks
"Daphne Hope Jones" Tara says with a smile
"Thats so pretty!" Charlie says looking up to Tara
"Would you like to hold her, Charlie?" Darcy asks
"Yes, please" Charlie says with a smile
As soon as Darcy places Daphne in Charlies arms she smiles and wraps her small hand around Charlies
"Hey Daphne, I'm your uncle you so pretty" Charlie says looking down at her
Something clicks in Nick watching Charlie hold this small new human in his arms he's never had this feeling. He knew right away this is who he would want to spend the rest of his life with and maybe have children together?
After a few moments Charlie hands Daphne to Nick and Charlie gets the same feeling that Nick had while Charlie was holding this little girl.
After about an hour they say their goodbyes and head home. They sit in the car and connect their hands together leaving a free one open so Nick can drive.
"She was so pretty" Charlie says
"She is I can't wait to see her grow up." Nick says as a response
They soon arrive home and as soon as they walk through the door Nick pulls Charlie to the couch to sit
"Charlie-" Nick tried to finish but Charlie cuts him off
"I want to start a family with you." Charlie blurts out
Nick looks into Charlies eyes and gives a smile
"Sorry I didn't mean to cut you off what were you going to say?"
"I was going to say the same thing" Nick says putting both hands-on Charlies.
"Not right now but sometime soon?" Charlie says
"Yes, exactly what I wanted to say!" Nick says as he fidgets with Charlie's engagement ring
They share a small kiss and go back to the spare room to look at the photo album.
