As the last guests filtered out of the venue, the atmosphere was charged with a mix of joy and exhaustion. Jisoo and Jin stood together, a radiant couple still basking in the warmth of their engagement party.

“Can you believe it’s finally over?” Jisoo asked, her eyes sparkling with happiness as she leaned into Jin.

“It was perfect,” Jin replied, wrapping an arm around her waist. “You were breathtaking tonight.”

They shared a tender moment, but as the music faded and the lights dimmed, a hint of reality settled over them. The excitement of the night was slowly replaced by the understanding of what lay ahead.

Jisoo looked around, taking in the remnants of their celebration, the empty plates, scattered confetti, and lingering scent of flowers. “It feels surreal, doesn’t it? We’re really engaged now.”

Jin nodded, his expression thoughtful. “Yeah, and now the real work begins.”

As they stepped outside, the cool evening breeze welcomed them. The chaos of the party faded, leaving only the two of them standing together in the quiet of the night.

“We’ll face everything together,” Jisoo said, her voice steady.

Jin smiled, squeezing her hand. “Always.”

With a shared glance that promised unwavering support, they knew that their engagement was just the beginning of a beautiful journey together.

“Thank you for being here,” Jisoo said, her smile radiant. “Your presence means the world to us.”

Taehyung stood slightly apart from the crowd, his expression thoughtful. He caught Jennie’s eye, and for a brief moment, an unspoken tension hung in the air. She flashed him a bright smile, but he merely nodded, his mind racing with thoughts of their unannounced engagement.

The last of the guests left.

Rosé, noticing the moment, stepped over to Taehyung. “Are you okay?” she asked softly. He gave a noncommittal shrug, his gaze lingering on Jin and Jisoo.

Rosé turned to Jin and Jisoo. “I’m so happy for you two,” she said, her eyes gleaming with pride. “You deserve all the happiness in the world.”

Jin chuckled, wrapping an arm around Jisoo. “Thanks, Rosé. We’ll make sure to keep you updated.”

With the celebration finally over, the family exchanged tired but content smiles. Lia stepped forward, her presence commanding attention. “Now that the formalities are done, how about we all relax and celebrate the end of this engagement with a nightcap?”
