Inside Jisoo’s elegantly furnished bedroom. Lia and Jisoo are seated on a plush couch, surrounded by bridal magazines and fabric swatches as they discuss Jisoo’s upcoming engagement to Jin.
“It’s hard to believe your engagement is just around the corner, unnie. Are you ready for it?” asked Lia, flipping through a magazine. Her voice was gentle, but there was a hint of curiosity about how Jisoo was handling everything.
“I think so,” Jisoo replied with a soft smile. “Jin is wonderful, and we’ve known each other forever. But honestly, there’s so much happening so quickly.” She paused, feeling the weight of everything that was coming her way.
Lia nodded, understanding the pressure. “But don’t worry, everything will fall into place. You’ll be an incredible bride, and I’ll be here every step of the way,” she reassured, hoping to ease her sister’s mind.
“Thank you, Lia. Actually, I’ve been thinking… Jennie will be our sister-in-law soon, and I want to make sure she feels included,” said Jisoo, her voice filled with a mix of determination and thoughtfulness. “I’ll invite her for some shopping tomorrow. We can pick out a few things for the engagement and get to know each other better.”
“That’s a great idea,” Lia said thoughtfully. “With all the pressure she’s under, a day out might be exactly what she needs. Plus, it’ll give us time to bond since she will be living in our house too after their wedding .”
“Exactly,” Jisoo agreed, feeling more confident in her plan. “I’ll call her now.”

Inside Jennie’s bedroom, a serene space with a minimalist design. She sits at her vanity, her reflection staring back at her as she runs a hand through her hair, lost in thought.
Jennie couldn't stop thinking about the conversation she had with Taehyung at the café. His cold, detached words echoed in her mind, making her feel trapped. He had made it clear that love was not part of the equation for him, and Jennie knew that refusing the marriage wasn’t an option. Her parents were adamant, their expectations a heavy weight on her shoulders. She sighed, feeling the pressure mounting as she tried to figure out how to navigate the situation.
As she was lost in thought, her phone buzzed on the vanity. Glancing at the screen, she saw Jisoo’s name flash. Jennie hesitated for a moment before picking up, trying to push her worries aside.
“Hello, Jisoo?” Jennie answered, her voice tinged with curiosity and a hint of apprehension.
“Hi, Jennie!” Jisoo replied cheerfully, completely unaware of Jennie’s inner turmoil. “I hope I’m not interrupting anything.”
