"Sawney! Bean! Tell me this isn't real!" Hange was yelling while in front of you, two giant skeletons with steam coming out of them. They got killed.

You and Eren had capes over your heads while watching Hange cry in pain. You felt bad for her, you watched as she grabbed her hair in frustration, yelling, kneeling on the ground.

"What's this?" Eren asked from besides you. You were in between him and Captain Levi. You and the captain were around the same height, you slightly taller.

"Let's go. It's up to the Military Police now." Your Captain said and walked away. "R-Right..." Eren stuttered.

You took off your cape and were about to walk away when Erwin came behind you, in between you and Eren. "What do you see? Who do you think the enemy is?" You and Eren looked at Erwin, he had his hands on Eren's shoulders.

"Uhhh... what?" You whispered.

"I'm sorry to ask something so odd." Then he walked away with Levi. You also started walking away to your horse, who as always, became excited to see you again.

Petting his neck and his nose, you got up on him, and made your way back to HQ with the squad.

"I thought of a way to avoid killing you." Levi said. You were now in a class room, Hange was there too, sitting on a wooden box, benched over.

"Yes?" Eren said.

"I said the only way to stop you in your Titan form is to kill you. But with this method, you'll only be injured. That said, it requires a certain amount of skill." He then started drawing on the chalk board. "In essence, you'll be cut out along with the nape. As a result, the ends of your arms and legs will be severed. This procedure will apply to (Y/n) as well if she manages to transform and lose control. Then again, they'll just grow back like a lizard's, just how (Y/n) left hand grew back, right? How disgusting."

At the last comment you hid your left hand behind your back and looked to the side, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Wait a minute. I don't know how they grow back or anything. Isn't there any other way..." Eren spoke.

"I agree." You said while grabbing your left hand from behind your back. "I can confirm they will grow back, eventually... But it still hurts a ton to lose a member. I'm speaking from experience..." You whispered the last part while looking down at the floor.

You couldn't notice Levi eyeing you, his gaze softening ever so slightly.

"So you want there to be no danger and no cost whatsoever?" Levi asked the both of you.

"N-No..." Eren replied while you remained silent.

"Then prepare yourselves. We're in the same boat. There's a risk that you'll kill us. So rest at ease."

You nodded slowly, still looking down. "Right. We understand." The boy replied for the both of you.

"S-So, I can experiment now, right?" You got caught off by Hange speaking, she was in the dark corner of the room. In this moment, she creeped you out.
