"I'm Hange Zoe, a Survey Corps squad leader."

You were walking next to Eren, but your face was turned away from him, since he was, well, getting sniffed. You tried not to laugh or smile.

"He's another squad leader, Mika Zacharious."

"Um..." Eren moved away from him, he still had that funny disgusted face on.

"He has the habit of smelling people he's just met, and then smirking." 

You looked at Eren, still trying not to smile, he was clearly annoyed at you and made and offended look.

But then the Mika guy got near your neck and sniffed, making you flinch away and cringe at the act. Eren giggling, of course.

"I don't think it has any real significance. After all, he's good enough that they gave him a squad."

You continued walking, there was a very very very loud silence between the four, you didn't like it.

"Oh, sorry! Too much chit-chat." Hange then said, she was very energetic. "We're already here."

You stopped in front of a wooden door, and for some reason you started feeling anxious. There was still bad feeling you felt from inside the room. It wasn't going to be good.

"Don't worry." She said while opening the double doors. "It's actually better not to get any explanation in advance." Then the two guards pushed the both of you in, you trying your best to remain and act calm while Eren turned around. "Wait!"

"I know it's selfish," Her voice suddenly turned serious. "but we have no choice but to blindly trust you. Good luck!" Then she closed the doors.

The room was fairly big, many people were there, in the middle there was this ring thing with a small podium in the middle, it had a pole and a small gap next to it.

Both you and Eren stood still, him looking up while you keeping your head low, looking around. But then the guards pressed the muzzle of their rifles to your backs.

"Step forwards." Then we got pushed into the center.

Eren had to kneel, and they put that pole thing over his handcuffs, while you were to be kneeled next to that hole, it had some king of attachment, that was used to attach your handcuffs there. You were able to move a bit more than Eren.

After they got the both of you kneeling down, there was a lot of whispering heard so you looked around.

In an area, there were the Military Police, in another, the Garrison, and in another area the Survey Corps. They all had serious faces on, making you feel slightly more anxious, then you noticed Eren looking in a certain direction, looking there too, you saw your two friends.

'Mikasa? Armin? What are they doing here? But then, where are the rest?'

"Well then, let us begin." An older man with beard spoke up, he must be the one to decide if you will survive another day or not.

Eren Jaeger and (Y/n) (L/n), yes? You are soldiers, sworn to sacrifice your life for the public good. Is that correct?"

"Yes, sir."
