~ DAY SEVEN ~

If you think about it, they are having a normal day inside the Glade as the time goes by. Waking up early to eat breakfast, they go to work after, stop for a few hours to eat lunch, go back to work again, stop when night comes, and eat their dinner first before going back to their bed.

Even though she practices every day, Zelia still doesn't forget being a Med-jack. She can't just forget what her first job is. There is still a big part of her that wants to treat the patients.

Zelia was now going to where the Armory is; that's what she called. Here are the weapons they will use — crossbows, spears, and small and long knives. She also has something called Reign, where the girl's teaching is held right here. The place where she will teach is close to the Slammers because this place is wide, perfect for teaching those who want to learn.

Before Zelia could reach her destination, she suddenly heard a sound from the box, a sign of a new arrival.

Oh, shucks, I forgot that the Creators will sent the new Greenie. I feel like they will send a boy again.

All the Gladers went to where the box is, waiting to see who the new arrival is. When it stopped, it was Winston who volunteered to open the door. They waited silently, and Zelia didn't know why she felt nervous.

"So? What do you see?"

"What does he look like?"

"What job do you think he will get?"

"Guys." The men who were whispering stopped when they heard Winston speak. He looked up with a shock on his face and met the girl's gaze. "It's a girl."

Everyone looked at Zelia, who was just silently looking at the young man with a frown. Winston slowly stepped aside so they could see who is in the box, and he wasn't joking.

They saw a woman sitting hugging her own knees, just looking at them, fear evident on her face. The girl felt that Alby was looking at her, so she stared at him.

"Go ahead, get down there, and do the job," the leader said and gave Zelia a smile. The girl nodded first and slowly got down so that the newcomer would not surprise and be afraid of her.

"Hey, it's okay. We can get you out of here and answer your questions we possibly know. You can trust me and don't be scared. We will help you," Zelia said and extended her hand to the woman. She stared at it before accepting her hand. The girl smiled and helped her stand up.

The men slowly helped them out of the box. When they finally got out, Alby approached the two women.

"Hi, Greenie, my name is Alby; I'm the leader here. Welcome to the Glade," he said while the newcomer just looked at him. "Do you have a name?" Zelia saw how she frowned.

"I don't know." The woman gave a short answer as if she was surprised by her own voice, and the man just nodded.

"That's fine, you can remember your name in a day or so. For now, this is Zelia; she's the first girl that arrived here. She will take care of you, and she will answer your few questions." Alby said that the new arrival was listening quietly next to Zelia.

Their leader told the men to return to what they were doing. Even though the girl still couldn't believe it, she still tried to calm herself down so that her excitement wouldn't show.

"Shall we?" Zelia asked the newcomer when she faced her. She just nodded, and the girl began to explain.

-----

"That must be rough for being the first girl here," Maggie said — the name of the newcomer. In the middle of Zelia's explanation, she remembered her own name. They are now in the tree, where they can see the whole Glade.

"You could say that since it's kind of look terrifying to think of it, but they're really kind to me, especially Newt and Kendrix. Unless, in my case, there's one person who is grumpy to me for no reason at all," Maggie laughed softly. Since they started sitting at the tree, Zelia has been talking about what happened to her from the beginning until now.

"I just hope I don't have an enemy here. I can't handle that kind of treatment."

"Don't worry, I got your back. Just tell me who is being rude to you so I can torture them when I teach them how to defend themselves." Maggie laughed softly at what the girl said. They were silent for a minute, and Zelia looked at the Maze and realized that the door was about to close.

"Let's go. The door is about to close, and I want to see the Runners to find out what the news is." Maggie nodded and didn't argue at what the girl said. They got down from the tree and started to walk to the entrance of the Maze together.

"Do you think he's still alive? I mean, the way you said how dangerous the Maze is, I'm just wondering, especially since a week has passed, there's still no sign of whether he's alive or, you know," Maggie said, and Zelia took a deep breath as they continued walking.

"Maybe I'm still hoping that I'll see him today because that's the last thing he said to us. Alby himself also told us that there's a chance he's still alive."

Maggie didn't say a word, and it only took a few minutes for them to arrive at the entrance of the Maze, waiting for the Runners. They both didn't expect to see Alby.

"Do you have a name, Greenie?" The man asked without even looking at them. It was just looking straight ahead, waiting for people to come out of the Maze.

"Maggie." Alby just hummed when he heard her say her name.

"You heard her stories since day 1. What happened to her, why she's waiting at the entrance of the Maze." Both girls looked at the leader, who was still looking in front of them. "You probably know why I'm here. What are you going to do if you see him alive, Zelia?" Alby asked, and he looked at the girl who was now also looking at him.

"Honestly, I don't know. I never think of that." The man nodded and they looked at the Maze, she's feeling nervous right now. As time passed, Zelia could feel how fast her heart was beating.

It only took a few minutes for them to gradually see the Runners. The girl's eyes immediately went wonder to them to see him. When the Runners finally got inside the Glade, Zelia saw the sad faces of them. Even if they didn't speak, the girl immediately knew what the news is. They did not find what they had been looking for for a long time.

"Let's go everyone. We need to make a bonfire for our new Greenie here," Alby said, waking up Zelia to reality. She took a deep breath and was about to leave when she felt the leader tap her shoulder.

"I know that Minho is innocent." Suddenly the girl looked at Alby who was now walking away. Zelia can't believe on what he said. She felt that something that she couldn't explain what it was.

How did he knows? Did someone told him?
