ravi walked into the living room to find pip curled up reading a book on the sofa
'Hey love, what would you like for lunch?' Ravis voice quivered slightly, worried that she hadn't eaten all day. 'I'm not hungry, thank you though' she said quickly. Ravis eyes filled with worry as he looked her in the eyes and sat down next to her on the sofa. She put her book down and Ravi lay down next to her pressing his lips against her ear whispering, 'you've not been eating sarge.. are you okay?' he tried not to cry but his eyes were glossy, brimmed with tears. Pip looked up at him suddenly feeling a pang of guilt. 'I'm sorry' she whispered back, sending a shockwave of nerves down ravis spine. 'Sorry for what?' His voice cracking. Suddenly pip burst into tears, shaking and crying, resting her head on ravis shoulder. 'Hey, hey calm down. I'm not cross, just calm yourself down then we can talk about it.' He hugged her tight which always settled her nerves. Once pip had calmed down and stopped crying Ravi grasped her hand and spoke to her.
'Whats going on sweetheart, you can trust me and i will try my absolute best to sort this out and stop whatever's making you like this. Please, just tell me whats going on.' The pain in his voice was obvious. He couldn't bear to see the love of his life like this. 'I...I don't know' she whispered to Ravi. 'It really doesn't matter' she swiped her eyes, got up from the sofa and left the room. Ravi watched as pip left and once she was out of sight, he started crying, real tears streaming down his face as ravi placed his head in hands.
