A car door slammed in the distance and pip sat straight up. 'jesus' she said to herself breathing heavily. She lay back down and saw a concerned ravi on the other side of the bed they had shared. 'sarge?' ravi whispered 'are you alright love?' he looked quite proud of himself for calling her love, 'im fine, i.. i dont know what happend i ha... i havent heard gunshots in ages not since, you know s-' 'i know i know, your fine- okay' ravi cut her off mid sentence to avoid her getting upset. 'i love you pip, your very brave. the bravest, actually. team pip and ravi for life,' he looked up and admired her. 'what time is it?' pip asked, her heart still pounding in her chest from that car door. 'errr let me have a look' ravi pretended to look at an imaginary watch on his wrist, 'ah look, its breakfast o'clock!' he laughed at his unfunny joke.
they went to ravis small kitchen
'this, pippus maximus, is my gordan ramsey level kitchen, complete with a broken microwave an incomplete set of cutlery' ravi opened a drawer, got out a spoon and waved it in the air like a magicians wand. 'ravi your so-' and before she could finish her sentence ravi interrupted her again '-handsome? kind? funny?' he smirked 'why thank you pippa fitz-amobi im delighted that you think that of me!' they burst out laughing and pip rolled her eyes. 'im so happy.. i- i just am so happy to be back with you.'
they make breakfast and after they have finished eating pip gets an idea.
'raviiiiii' pip looked at him with a mischievous look. 'oh god. youve got that look in your eyes.. what do you want.. NO MORE MURDER CASES!!!' he giggled like a little girl and looked up at her. 'i want to surprise cara.. today' she smirked and ravi nodded.
they hatched a plan, for ravi to message cara to come round his house for a 'chat'. ravi will open the door all serious and sit her down on his sofa. they will start talking about pip. meanwhile pip is in the cupboard next to where they will be sitting and she will burst out.
'that sounds crazy pip... lets do it, ill message her now!' ravi had that same mischevous look in his eyes. 'lets rock this bitch' he quoted in an american accent like regina george said in mean girls, 'ravi what was that' pip burst out laughing, 'you weirdo.' she giggles
