ravis pov:

'and now we have some breaking news coming in. the trial of max hastings, the suspected killer of jason bell has just ended. max hastings has been proven guilty and is sentenced to prison for life' a monotone voice said, blaring out of my crappy old television. i stopped still for a second in shock then quickly fumbled around in my pocket to find my phone. 'where the fuck is it' i panicked and looked for 2 minutes until i found it wedged between the sofa pillows. 'it was there the whole time??' i groaned and unlocked it. 'wheres her number? it used to be at the top of my list' i sighed sadly then found pips number. 'what do i say' i thought. i composed a message then paused for a few seconds to read it over a few times before clicking send. the tick next to my message turned blue, 'shes read it.. shit shes read it' i panicked.

ravi: hey sarge, remember me?

pip stared at her phone, her mouth gaped open. it couldnt be.. how did he get her new number? 'no fucking way...' pip thought as she studied the message, no one else called her sarge, it had to be him. 'how the fuck...' pip carried on staring at her phone with her jaw practically on the floor. how on gods green earth would she reply to that? should she joke around and say 'no i dont remember you, whos sarge?' pip thought. no maybe not. this was her chance to see ravi.

ravi: we did it. we really did it

pip: i cant explain how much i missed you

ravi: neither, im honestly so relieved to be hearing from you x

'A KISS?????? DOES THAT MEAN WE ARE-' pip thought, stunned

pip: i am shaking this is so overwhelming

ravi: i know but its over now

pip: how are my parents?? they always seem a bit nervy on calls.

ravi: they've been worrying about you. everyone has, but hows uni????

pip: yeah its good, alot of people know who i am from all that publicity stuff haha, but everyones really nice and my course is going well!

ravi: i miss you

pip: im really sorry ravi 

ravi: its okay, team pip and ravi are back!

pip: ill try come down to kilton next weekend because im busy this weekend

ravi: okay! ill message you later sarge, josh wants to play fifa so im gonna head over now, cya!! x

'another kiss??? oh my gosh' pip thought

pip: bye x

pip was smiling so hard her jaw was aching. ravi must be babysitting josh again, pip smiled harder knowing her little brother was having fun. of course she wasnt busy on the weekend. she never was these days. she wanted to put a million kisses after the messages.

'dont you worry ravi, ill be in your arms again soon..' she beamed.
