No going back-Sundew

"I hate this."Sundew grumbled.Willow had gotten her to wear one of the stupid costumes and now the entire friend group plus BumbleBee and David were dressed up like it was Halloween night.

"You were okay with hot pink clothes."Luna pointed out and Swordtail nodded.She shot them a glare.The only reason she'd been mildly okay with the pink clothes was because they were-COMFORTABLE.Yup.

"One sec,I'ma get you kids something to eat and we'll continue dress up okay?"Blue said cheerfully to David and his sister—Lily?.

Yea,no.There was just about nothing in the fridge."Well,uhhh,back up plan?"Swordtail tried,but literally no one replied.

"Well that crashed and burned."Sundew said."Let's take these kids to a fancy restaurant!"

"Did the parents allow this."Cricket asked.Sundew turned to Blue and so did everyone else.He shrugged.

"They didn't say."

"LETS GO!"Lily shouted."Fancy restaurant here we come!"

"So does anybody have a car?"Willow asked and everything stopped,but Sundew had a plan for that.

"I'ma just call Byblis to get us there."She announced,shooting Willow a grin."And don't worry bout the check."

"I-did not see you being rich."Said Swordtail who looked mildly confused.

"Well I am,lemme call her and we're off to feeding the kids!"

"HORRAYYYYY!"David and Lily cheered.

"HOW did NO ONE notice we were still in COSTUMES!"Sundew asked.The ENTIRE trip,not a single soul had said ANYTHING about the costumes.But here they were,at some random fancy restaurant Byblis had taken them too.

"Sundew jus mad,we drip."Bumblebee declared,Sundew shot her a frown."Just mad."

"No need to shout."Byblis said calmly,opening the door to her tank looking car."You're here either way and I have tasks to carry out.I'll pick you up at the call of your phone."

"I'm not sure I want to know what 'tasks' mean in this situation."Luna remarked which lead to the starry eyed Cricket to jump in.

"But I do!"Cricket chimed in."What do you do?!"

"Classified."Byblis replied mysteriously before hopping back in her car and driving off.

"I have a few guess that I'm just not going to explore."Willow said,walking toward the entrance."You guys coming?"

In about a year they were sitting inside.The restaurant,Collies' something,was decorated with extravagant looking plants and paintings.Her eyes mostly focused on the ART,nothing else,just ART.But out the corner of her eye she saw Lily and David's faces go pale.

"What is it?"Blue asked before she could get there,but then his face turned pale."Oh."

"How bad is it?"Luna asked and then Blue pointed to chattering couple only a few tables away.

"That's the parents."He whispered and the entire group looked at each other."We're in trouble."

"Cooked."Excepted Bumblebee who was currently talking like a iPad kid.

"These waiters need to hurry."Swordtail said in a whisper.Tapping is hand furiously on the table."Or Blue's never getting another babysitting job."

A waiter literally appeared right then."May I take your order?"

"Oh my god-they heard our prayers."Willow said relieved.

They ordered,but what seemed nice turned out kinda terrifying because the kid's parents looked over at the table and seemed to talk about something.The waiter left as the mother approached."Well hello,sorry to make this awkward but,nice costumes.We have those exact ones!"She said with hearty laugh.

They all looked at eachother in an awkward moment before she tilted her head at the two kids who were looking down at the table and then she hurried away."WE NEED TO GO!"Luna whispered loudly.

"We should have just went with the pizza."David said miserably.

"We are getting these kids food if it's the last thing we do!Plus we already order...SO NO GOING BACK!"Sundew declared,tho it wasn't as impactful since she had to make sure no one else could hear her.

She'd gotten them into this,she was going to get them out with the added benefit of free food.
