~Peter POV~
Carley: Back off!
I turned to see Carley wielding her gun at something. I had to grab my shotgun and load two shells before going over to the wall.
Turned out there were two guys, but they seemed suspicious. Something's not right.
Guy 1: Woah, lady, relax! Me and my brother, we... we just want to know if ya'll can help us out.
Carley: I said back off!
Lee: You're outnumbered here, just turn around and go back.
Guy 1: Okay, that's fine, but you'd really be helping out, a fellow survivor if you could part with some extra gas before we leave...
Peter: Well, then maybe you ain't leaving at all!
I wielded my shotgun and pumped it, waiting for these guys to make the first move. I sorta recognize these guys, but I don't remember what they do, or did.
Carley: Hold on, Pete. Why do you need gas?
Guy 1: Our place is protected by an electric fence. Generators provide the electricity. Our generators run on gas. Look, we own a dairy farm a few miles up the road. If y'all be willing to lower your guns, we can talk about some kind of trade.
Peter: For some reason, I don't trust these guys.
Guy 1: How are ya'll doing on food? We got plenty at the dairy.
Peter: How about you mind your own business and get outta here before I blow your fucking brains out!
Lee: Peter!
Peter: I don't trust these guys. For some reason, I'm getting a cult-like vibe.
Guy 1: Wait a minute. You're Peter, right?
How'd this motherfucker know my name?
Guy 2: You and your family used to visit us before it all went to shit. You remember us? You used to wanting the swing so much that you didn't want to leave!
Peter: I don't recall visiting your so-called "dairy". And my parents died a long time ago, so if I were you, I'd get to gettin' before my head's blown off!
Guy 1: Calm down, now. We don't want to end this in violence now, don't we?
Lilly: No, we don't. Lee, why don't you, Peter, and Mark check the place out, see if it's legit.
Peter: Really? Why would I want to take orders from a bitch?
Larry: Hey! Who the fuck are you!
Peter: I'm the guy who does his job, you must be the other guy!
In short, Lee took the deal and we had to walk to the "dairy". I seriously don't recall going to that place.
Sure, there are some things I remember about my past, but nothing like this. I don't remember going to a dairy with my parents.
I had to keep my shotgun close and loaded to the point that the round capacity was all the way in.
While on the walk over, Carley had to talk to me about what happened back there.
Carley: Don't you think you went a bit too far back there?
Peter: I don't think so, Carley. From the way they're talking and their mannerisms, that tells me somethin' about them ain't right. Could be a cult of some kind.
