"An-Angel?!" You frantically rushed back against the wall. Your baseball star-of-a-boyfriend was towering in front of you, shirtless, holding a beheaded man bu the hair. It was Francisco Lain, the third baseman on the Salinas Thunderbolts. He was a good friend of Angel Griffith, the first baseman-But now he was here. Dead. In front of you.

"What is it, babe? I did this for you," he smiles. "I love you so much. He tried to get in my way."

"Wh-what does that even mean? I don't even talk to Lain!"

"Come on, baby, you know that doesn't matter. He liked looking at you from the field. I could tell," Angel said, calmly. Blood dripped from the detached head onto your poor floor. Thankfully, it wasn't carpet.

"A-Angel, you didn't have to-"

"I had to do this, babe. You can even ask Bolt. No one will notice."

Oh, right, Bolt, your technical "other" boyfriend. Both Angel and Bolt had fallen in love with you and didn't let you get a say in any of it. Both of them were crazy, so you didn't have a favourite, although Angel's light skin tone was heavily attractive versus Bolt being literally a radioactive yellow. You never told Bolt he looked funny, because he might've taken his offense too far.

"T-tell me why, then, b-because there's no r-reason for y-you two to keep k-killing people like this!"

"Because I love you. What makes that so hard to understand? If I could, I'd kill everyone for you. I'd even kill Bolt! Hahaha!"

"Th-that's not funny. I-I don't want you guys f-fighting over me."

"It's okay, babe. I wouldn't fight Bolt. We're both yours, just like you're the both of ours."

"I-I'm not some object."

He clicks his tongue playfully. "Awh, but we let you have your freedoms, don't we? All we mean is that we love you very much, and we're the only ones compatible for you." He waved around Lain's detached head. "Unlike him."

"E-enough of this! G-get rid of it! Y-you don't have to show me every time y-you kill someone!"

"Babe, I do. Just so you're reminded how much I love you. Bolt explained this to you many times," he sets the head down on the counter as he approaches you, stroking your cheek with a bloodied hand.

"Y-you're horrible," you cry quietly.

Angel frowns, sighing. "I know it's not a pretty sight. But I need you to understand why this must happen."

Without a response from you, he steps back to dispose of the head, and probably the rest of the body, wherever it was.

You were frozen still, crying, the gooey, gross texture of the blood still on your cheek. When he came back, he pitied your look.

"Come on, babe, don't be upset with me," Angel muttered monotonously as he washed his arms and hands. He grabbed a rag to soak and cleaned up your face. "So much prettier now. Lain's blood was distasteful."

"Where's Bolt?" you choked.

"I don't know. He'll be back, though," Angel smiles. "But that means that you and I can spend some lost time together, hm?" He gently nudges you to the living room.

He wrapped you up silly, like a burrito, on the sofa, rushing back to the kitchen to grab your favourite drinks and snacks.

"Babe, I love you so much," he chuckled as he began to look through whatever films (or perhaps YouTube videos, if you wanted) he knew you liked.

You snuggled into your little burrito, nibbling on some food. You tried to forget earlier, it was hard to forget as it was a constance occurrence. It was as if Angel was a hunter showing off his kill, it was disturbing and traumatic.

This was your life, as you know it. You could only accept it, even if it was hard. You barely had any friends, either because they forced you to drop them or those friends left after hearing about your predicament.

Sure, you had two, buff, handsome, extremely wealthy boyfriends, who spoiled you to death, and you did love them back, but that didn't excuse the manipulation, the sweet, sugar-coated threats, the murders. On most days, it was good, but on the bad days, it was bad, and you hated that.

They could just be normal for goodness sake. They could be jealous and possessive all they wanted to, you just didn't want anymore deaths.

As Angel held your burrito-self in his arms, kissing and nuzzling your neck, you stared blankly at the screen. You closed your eyes, trying to relax, trying to forget. Even though it was sad, even though it was scary, you turned into Angel's arms and nuzzled back into him.
