We just started training, but I already hate that bitch Kathy. She is quite weak, but still behaves like a leader. She even doesn't live with us here in knight barracks, but instead studies academy in the morning and then comes later to boss us around. Viola is much calmer, but it seems, that she doesn't have understanding for my job. But we need to work together to beat those demons.
Everyday training consists of three parts. In the morning we are running around the castle and barracks to train our endurance. I have no problems with that, but that princess is worn out after just one lap. In the afternoon we train fighting with local knights. The princess is quite useless here as well, but at least her defenses are good and so she leaves duels mostly unharmed in comparison to that bitch Kathy. And evenings are used to increase our spiritual energy through meditation. That is boring and so I usually fall asleep very soon.
Two months passed and our supervisors added one more part into our training. Now we learn how to channel our energy into special weapons. We could also choose the most suitable ones. When I saw the collection, there was no other option for me than to pick my favorite: double head great ax. The princess chose some battle staff and that bitch chose a long sword.
We kept training every day and finally the time to hit the road arrived. It's time to cut off a few demon heads.
Today we boarded a horse drawn carriage and several knights followed us riding what looked like our sky-bikes, but theirs had wheels similar to those which wagons use here. They parted with us at the border and we continued riding through the territory of Kingdom of Sun.
„So, where are we going now?", I asked Viola since it was her territory.
„To visit my father. He prepared us armor specially made for our task."
(Ahh, so are we going to visit another king?)
I never imagined, that I would have to visit 3 kings in such a short time. I wonder what kind of king this one is. When we arrived to the capital city, one of local guards led us to their armory.
„Oh, father... why are you here?"
„To welcome you heroes, of course. How was your journey? Let me look at you... did you get stronger? Come all of you, follow me inside."
From their talk I deducted, that this man is local king and Viola's father. He seems to be completely different than the other two. But that might be just sham.
„Choose one, which suits you the best. All of them are enhanced to provide strong physical and magical defenses and protection against cold."
All offered armors looked quite like normal leather clothes used by archers. When I tried to put one of them on, it immediately adjusted to my shape.
„It seems to be okay."
„Yes, father! They are amazing, thanks!", shouted Viola and also kissed his cheek.
(Oh, I didn't expected her to do something like that.)
„Not bad.", uttered Kathy.
From the armory we headed back to carriage and continue riding to a harbor, where we boarded one of large ships. In total 3 ships set sail toward demon territory in the end.
„I hope we can get there without any incident, since I can't swim.", mentioned princess Viola and Kathy included herself too.
That is quite important information. Why didn't they say anything before the trip? But in the worse case I can go alone. They are useless anyway.
