Sry guys I forgot to do this in the first chapter but here's the character's descriptions for now. There may or may not be other characters in the story later but I'm still not sure so here's the descriptions for now:
Helena- long, silky blonde hair and freckles, has peach skin, and is the "leader" of the group and is always making sure their safe. When she was little, her and her parents came over from Germany but sadly, her dad died soon after they got there because he got very sick on the plane. Her age is 14.
Ava- has short, brown hair and tan skin, and glasses. is shy but is a "math whiz". Her family originated from India, but she was born in america as her parents were also. Her age is 13.
Lucas-curly black short hair, has light skin and is very interested in space, the titanic, and fantasy. He is Hispanic and also is fluent in Spanish. His age is 14.
Jack- has short braids in his very curly dark hair, has chocolate colored skin, and is always trying to be the smart one and is always ready for any sort of possible adventure. He also likes football and basketball. His age is 14.
