With eyes as blue as the sky and hair as orange as fire, Jane Asher stole the heart of the doe eyed Beatle, Paul McCartney.
In 1963 Jane scored concert tickets of a lifetime. She was going to see The Beatles.
The concert was amazing, but she hated being around all the screaming girls. At the end of the concert, she was in for a pleasant surprise.
A photographer stopped her on the way out.
"Are you Jane Asher?"
"Yes," Jane replied nervously.
"May I snap a picture of you and Paul McCartney together please?"
Before she could say, yes of course, the photographer grabbed her arm and pulled her to a secluded dressing room.
"Hey!" Jane exclaimed. "That hurts!"
But when the photographer knocked on the door, the one and only Paul opened up.
"I thought I saw you in the audience Ms. Asher," he said in a thick Liverpool accent.
"Y-You did?" Jane stuttered.
He nodded at her softly. Then, he grabbed her waist, pulled her in close, and flashed a dazzling smile.
"Smile," he whispered in her ear.
Jane cracked a nervous smile and looked at the camera. The flash nearly blinded her, but she didn't mind. She was standing next to a Beatle, after all.
"Maybe we can do this again sometime," Paul said letting her go.
