I felt nerves bubble in my stomach as the GPS directed me into Ryder Lakeway. Not only was this notoriously a super rich neighborhood, but I've heard so many horror stories from Lori about the children she's had to babysit.

After getting laid off from my job a few weeks ago, I've needed a way to stay afloat. Instead of moping around in my pajamas all day and crying over a bag of takis, Lori, my roommate and best friend has been helping me get back on my feet again.

The first order of business was a job, and she nanny's for a family who knew another family in need of childcare. Which is where I come in.

As I continued my drive through the neighborhood, struggling to keep my eyes on the road and away from admiring the super large and fancy houses — the GPS alerted me that I've arrived. The house was huge, and white with a long stone brown driveway. Not knowing what to do, I simply parked on the street and got out. I've never babysat before and am super nervous, I haven't even met this family before either.

All I know is that the parents names are Megan and Shane, and they have one 3 year old daughter.

There was a weird lawnmower thingy that moved on its own, as I looked up to find the door I spotted a women bent over fighting up with a bunch of rose bushes.

"Uhm, hi!" I yelled as I approached, wanting to make sure I announced my presence and didn't startle her but she didn't seem to hear me. I glanced around before walking up closer and clearing my throat which finally seemed to get her attention.

Good god?

The woman, who I presumed to be Megan, turned towards me. Her eyebrows rose in surprise as she quickly stood up, flinching as her hands came out of the rose bush. She stood up straight and approached me, landing right in front of where I was standing. I felt short as she seemed to tower right over me.

"Oh my gosh, hi, you must be Azalia!" She smiled, her pink lips spreading onto the rest of her face which showed a pair of dimples. I felt a pit in my stomach — she's fucking beautiful. Her smile is so pretty and she has a small mole underneath her eye. Her eyes themselves are enough to make me cower slightly, as they were a beautiful mixture of blueish green. Her dirty blonde hair fell gracefully past her exposed shoulders, just like her sundress flowed well past her knees.

And— oh god. My eyes darted away from her chest just as quickly as they'd landed there. The dress she wore squeezed her cleavage, exposing just the right amount.

"Yes, I am. I am Azalia." I giggled awkwardly, watching as she stood there smiling at me. I wasn't sure if I should extend my hand for her to shake or not? So instead I.. bowed.

I fucking bowed, why the hell would I bow-

"Mama! Mama! I want you to braid my hair!" I heard a tiny voice screeching behind me before a small blonde girl ran into my view. She began tugging at her mothers dress which was quickly ceased when she noticed me.

"Gigi, remember I told you that you'd have a nanny now? Well she's here, that's Azalia." Megan spoke before her gaze returned on me, I forced myself to look away from her and down at the child who had now cowered behind her mother.

I kneeled down to level with the girl and smiled.

"Hi there, I'm Azalia." I beamed, but quickly frowned as my words only seemed to frighten the little girl more.

"What's your name?" I questioned, panicking abit as I wasn't sure if Gigi was her actual name or a nickname. After a few moments of silence, a gentle voice spoke from above me.

"Her name is Gia." Megan said as I glanced up at her. Her eyes were already on me causing me to become even more nervous as I interacted with her child.
