That day of that inevitable year, the first day of 2024, when the disaster began!

A disaster that shook the whole world! From oceans to land, mountains to volcanoes, all the planet's lands have moved toward the center. As if the sky had fallen, the stars and clouds disappeared, sunrise was delayed by a few hours, and millions fell into a coma of unknown origin.

It was over after a few hours, and hundreds of millions of people had already died, many of them essential to the continuity of order and peace.

Some mountains turned into flat lands, and some flat lands into mountains. It was disastrous, to say the least, and almost no buildings remained on the planet.Huge portals opened everywhere before humanity tried to rebuild civilization, and strange-looking creatures emerged.

Fortunately, other peaceful races emerged whose habitats were destroyed and supported humans, orcs, dwarves, and many more. That was when the <Status Screen> appeared for some selected people.

Those monsters were from the Chaos Race, which the Demons ruled. The Chaos Race destroyed the planets of the dwarves and Orcs, who fled to Earth and tried to use humanity in this futile struggle.

This is where the Union was created, and the great battles began. Aside from all that chaos, four centuries have passed since the establishment of the alliance, which is now called {The Union}.It has been eight decades since the last war with Demons, and signs of peace have begun to appear, causing some clashes in {The Union}, but all is well for now.

In a random place within the Humans Nation, west of <The Fort> City, the first line of defense against the Chaos Race coming from ancient Asia, or what was left of it, to be more precise.

At the same time, this city was the last defense for the western side of <The Fort>>In the royal family headquarters of West City, a pale-skinned person opened his gray eyes and looked out the window before him, where the moon settled, emitting its silver rays. His injured left hand rested on the wooden table, clearly unwell from the blood that stained the surface.

The hand bore a sharp, deep cut in the artery, with the bleeding having ceased some time ago. The room was tranquil. Only the constant drops of blood fell throughout.

I still can't comprehend what is happening in God's name. Wasn't I sleeping on my uncomfortable sofa a while ago? Wasn't I about to wake up for a job interview for a position where I would do the same thing every day for sixty years? Also, why does my head hurt so much? What is all this blood coming out of my hand? And why didn't I already die with all this coming out?

Again, is it normal for my head to hurt this much? I felt as if a very crazy doctor was performing surgery on my brain. So crazy that he would reject the idea of working for sixty years with an unfair salary. Well, all joking aside, what are all these memories?

A strange name came to my tongue, and I said it unconsciously.

"Cassian StarHold... StarHold... StarHold...." Where did I hear that name again? I was in a state of extreme dizziness, and I couldn't remember much. Without any warning, I started screaming very loudly.

As a spoiled boy, I had barely felt pain in my entire life, let alone in such intense pain. I shook my head in all directions, and the chair fell, hitting the back of my head on the tiled floor. I lost consciousness for a few seconds, and the pain finally disappeared.

I looked at my surroundings. Behind me is a giant bed made of a cloud-like material. Is this the first time I've seen a bed with a roof? Yes, it's the first time... The bed was large and in a mess simultaneously, as if three people had just fought over it.

The design was a bit old, similar to the old European nobles-room style. I then looked around. Well, I won't deny that the place was quite strange. The ceiling had a sophisticated light bulb, but the rest of the room looked like it had come from Old Europe. I looked to my left, opposite the bed, where a giant wooden door would take two people to open completely.

Next to the door was a giant full body mirror, and I saw an image of an unfamiliar person in the distance. What the heck! Suddenly, I felt something running down my face and looked up unconsciously. My left hand was above my head, and the blood dripping from it smeared my entire face, and some of it got into my eyes.

Damn, this hurts too! I ran to the nearby bed and wiped my face with the soft white sheet .I ended up lying on the bed, and my breathing could be heard throughout the room, like that of a dog who had just done a challenging job.

My chest rose up and down nonstop, and a storm of thoughts raced through my mind.

'What in the name of God is happening...' I finally Got myself together and began to analyze the strange memories that forcefully invaded my mind, causing pain that I hope I will never feel again. I remembered some things, too.

StarHold is a royal family responsible for protecting the West of the Human Nation, and my memories belong to Cassian StarHold. Cassian StarHold is the big brother of the MC, Darian StarHold. I laughed oppressively. What in God's name is happening? Is this some kind of prank? Did my mother drug me, then send me to a prank show?

No, that pain is too intense to be a joke...Technology in the twenty-first century can't transfer memories directly to someone's mind. Is it a dream? Of course not. It is too realistic to be...

My mind worked on logic and science, so I could not understand what was happening and how my physical appearance had changed. Questions that cannot be answered? I have a secret art for this. I will ignore them until I get an answer, one way or another.

After all that pain, I wanted to sleep on this comfortable bed, but I quickly resisted my urge. I need to know what happened. I got up with great difficulty and headed towards the wooden table where I had woken up a short while ago, examining every corner.

Dozens of papers and books, most stained with blood. The topics of the books varied from chemistry and pharmacy to the study of mana science. Only two things were undamaged: a relatively large diary and a piece of paper made of a particular material.

With some hesitation. I read the strange words on the paper

.—----------

<27-8-403>

One O'clock. It looks like this is what awaits me! Darian, Loana, I will curse you all to my death! Your greed for power has weighed down your hearts, and your cursed future is the result! I left you a small gift! {I} will be your curse!

These words were written in large, lame handwriting. The ink was special and glowed under the moonlight.

'Is this boy mad?' Those aren't the words of a sane person... he seems a bit brain-dead. I put my hand behind my head out of confusion, but the smell of iron coming out of it changed my facial features somewhat. Well, the entire room gave off a smell of bloody iron.

I turned the paper, which was dyed red, and saw a hexagonal geometric formation. It seemed as if it had been carved into it and not written. The drops of blood in it, in particular, glowed.

"What kind of satanic ritual is this?" I frowned, and then my shock increased when the paper in my hands turned to ash. Before I could say anything, I heard a noise from outside.

"Damn it! This is bad!" I wanted to step back but accidentally stumbled and sat on the chair.
