I grabbed my phone to check all the messages. Nothing from Rafe. I was a little worried that yesterday we left things a little awkward. I hope he doesn't think that us doing whatever we were doing meant that we're gonna be together now. Because no. He's not the guy for me.
But it's good to have some fun now and then.
But there was other messages waiting for me.

It was around 7pm. Recently I started making weekends my self care evenings. I put on eye patches, threw popcorn into the microwave and poured myself a glass of white wine. My parents were going to this event in Cameron's house. Ward was hosting some business party or whatever that is. My brother went out and my little brother is on a sleepover with his buddy. So I got the whole house to myself.
I started choosing the movie for tonight when I heard knocking on the door. I went to open them and there he was. With his short dark blonde hair looking like he really doesn't want to be where he is. He looked at me concerned.
-what is that under your eyes? - he laughed
-eye patches. What are you doing here? - I asked and immediately heard my dad running downstairs.
-oh Rafe you made it! - he said - honey he's going to stay with you tonight
-what the hell? - I said annoyed
