I can't explain how Dandy slept. Good? Bad? Soundly? Who knows. After a whole while of sleeping on the floor, I bet he was happy. But comprehending Dandy's emotions is kinda complicated.

Dandy woke up. He rubbed his eyes and yawned a little. He had no energy of getting up from bed completely. He stared blankly at his dorm, his things... How should he even feel? Glad? Confused? Maybe it was just a dream? Or a nightmare? Whatever it was was the worst shit he has ever gone through.

He stared at his mirror, with some photos of him and his friends, some plushies, and posters about him hanging around the walls.

His eyes. They were...different. but, for him, they stayed the same because he had not seen himself in a mirror after a whole while.

But, he did know he looked different. Worse. Bad. Skinny. A little paler and his petals were darker, close to black.

And he smelled horrible.

He went off now, leaving his own house, looking around. He had now removed the black substance remains from his face. Still, he felt like... a blank canvas. How should he even describe this feeling?

Again, the same painted rainbows, the sun with a 'bright smile'. He remembered how much he hated this.

He still did.

Even if he has to stay here forever, he had to DO SOMETHING. Something he enjoyed? Something he liked! A hobby? Nah. Singer? No. It's not fun enough.
That thing. That black thing. That thing saved him. And it was rather delicious... tasty.

He had to get back there and get some of it. He had to see which effects it would do to other toons. He had to see. If he can't be happy, gleefully, whimsical, or joyful, then no

🌖"Dandy?"

It was Astro. His lifelong friend. He always helps him out during blackouts, while storms, during nightmares, during mostly anytime.

He had not seen his face in a while.

🌼🌈"..."

🌖"Dandy, what happened to you? I have not seen you in months!" Astro said. Astro was never the type of guy to express himself well enough. It was always a difficulty to know how he felt or something. But this time, he looked worried. Sad.

🌼🌈"...hi."

🌖"Are you ok? You seem sleep deprived. Skinny, you look like you've been crying on your sleep, your petals are crooked, and your eyes are blacker than normal... Where were you?"

🌼🌈"I am fine. Really."

🌖"Are you sure?"

🌼🌈"Yeah."

Astro didn't buy it, like at all. Dandy was completely destroyed in his eyes. He had been gone for months, he looks like he had been through a bloodbath, and this was the aftermath.

🌖"Where have you...." Astro was at the edge of leaking the first tear.

🌼🌈"I...I don't... I dont know... I.."

Astro, slowly, without trying to trigger him or anything, wrapped his blanket around him. He knew something was wrong.

As much as I hate to say this, he didn't return the hug. This was weird, Dandy was the one who hugged him, and most of the time, Astro didn't hug back. But, this time, he didn't.

But what could possibly be wrong?
