OLIVIA: Reliving the glory days?
Walker smiles slightly at the sight of his wife.
(BOTH CHUCKLE)
OLIVIA: I remember sneaking into this locker room before each game to see you.
WALKER: It's probably why we always won.
OLIVIA: You nervous?
WALKER: Who, me?
OLIVIA: Mmm-hmm.
WALKER: Never.
"Ego much?" Gabrielle mutters.
"You're commenting on everyone's ego when you have the biggest one of all!" Shuri exclaims.
"How did you hear me?" Gabrielle asks. "You're all the way across the room!"
"I have my ways," Shuri says slyly. Gabrielle scowls at her.
(CHUCKLES SOFTLY)
WALKER: I've been a captain before, obviously, but this is different. This is... Everybody in the world expects me to be something. And I don't wanna fail them.
"I've failed a lot as Captain America," Steve says.
"Yeah, you have," Bucky says.
"You weren't even there for half of it, so shut up." Bucky sticks his tongue out at Steve and he just rolls his eyes playfully in response.
OLIVIA: I know.
WALKER: Yeah.
OLIVIA: Be yourself.
WALKER: Yeah.
OLIVIA: They're gonna love you.
(CHUCKLES)
OLIVIA: Good luck.
WALKER: Love you.
OLIVIA: Love you.
(MUFFLED CROWD CHEERING)
LEMAR: Did he puke yet?
Walker looks down sadly at the sight of Lemar.
OLIVIA: Not yet. You're up.
LEMAR: Copy that.
WALKER: Good morning. Good morning, America. Good morning. (SOFTLY) No, you're Captain America, you're not... (IN NORMAL VOICE) Good morning. John, Captain, uh... Captain America.
LEMAR: And that's why you failed drama class.
"Burn," someone says and everyone laughs.
(LAUGHS)
WALKER: Can you believe this?
LEMAR: (CHUCKLES) I know, right?
WALKER: (CHUCKLES) Yeah.
LEMAR: Two weeks ago we're prepping the team for a special ops mission in Chile, now this.
WALKER: Don't get me wrong, this has been great, it's been great, but it's been a lot of handshakes, a lot of suits, a lot of speeches, and senator meetings, and I just wanna do the job.
"At least you didn't have to go on a USO tour," Bucky snickers. Steve glares at Bucky murderously.
LEMAR: This is the job, John.
