The next day at work, Isabella found herself in the break room with a few of her colleagues. The hospital had been especially hectic, and everyone looked exhausted. As they sat down with their coffee, Isabella glanced around the room, it's a normal day for her and everyone being in the hospital treating someone that normal for all doctors, but it's quite a good day today because they rarely see eachother of their busy schedule and now her colleagues are here, she felt good, she felt like she wasn't alone anymore.
Dr James said with a small smile, "You know, we never really get time to just sit and talk. It's always running from one patient to the next."
One of her colleagues, Dr. Emily, sighed, nodding in agreement. "Tell me about it. Some days, I feel like I barely have time to breathe, let alone have a conversation."
"It's true," another nurse, Sarah, added. "We spend so much time taking care of others that we forget to take care of ourselves. Even moments like this feel rare."
Isabella nodded thoughtfully. "It's hard. We see patients in the worst moments of their lives, and we do everything we can to help, but it takes a toll. Sometimes, I just wish we had more time to connect-not just with the patients, but with each other."
Dr. Emily smiled. "I get that. It's easy to feel like we're all just part of this big machine, running all the time. But we need to look out for each other too."
Isabella glanced at her cup, her thoughts drifting. "I guess we're all in this together. It's good to remind ourselves of that every once in a while."
The group shared a quiet moment, the weight of their responsibilities hanging in the air, but there was also a sense of camaraderie between them. They all knew the struggles of their work, but they also knew the importance of having each other for support.
"We should do this more often," Sarah said with a grin. "Even if it's just a quick coffee break, it makes a difference."
Dr James smiled, appreciating the moment of connection with her colleagues. "Definitely. We need to make time for these little moments."
As they finished their break and prepared to head back to their shifts, Isabella felt a renewed sense of gratitude for the people she worked with. Even in the busiest, most exhausting moments, she knew she wasn't alone in facing the challenges of the hospital.

Meanwhile, across town, Matteo sat in his sleek office, deep in conversation with Mia and his friends. All of them had been discussing business for hours, their focus now shifting to their next big venture. Their partnership with STK Enterprise had been a massive success, but they both knew that it was just the beginning.
Joo leaned back in his chair, crossing her arms with a satisfied grin. "We really nailed that deal with STK. I have to admit, I wasn't sure how it would play out, but everything went better than expected."
Matteo nodded, though his mind was elsewhere for a moment, briefly flashing to thoughts of Isabella. He quickly refocused. "Yeah, it was a solid win. But we can't get comfortable just yet. There's another opportunity coming up, and we need to be prepared."
Mia raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What are you thinking? Another partnership? Expansion?"
"Exactly," Matteo replied, tapping his fingers lightly on the desk. "There's a new player in the market, someone with deep pockets and influence. If we can get ahead of the competition, we can secure a deal that will give us even more leverage. But it's going to require careful planning."
Mia nodded, her sharp business mind already turning over the possibilities. "I'll start digging into the details and gathering intel. We need to know exactly who we're dealing with before we make any moves."
Matteo's gaze hardened with determination. "Good. I don't want any surprises. We have to be two steps ahead of everyone else, just like we were with STK."
Teros smirked. "That's why we make a good team. We're always thinking ahead." He paused for a moment before adding, "But you've been a bit... distracted lately. Something going on?"
Matteo hesitated, not wanting to reveal too much. "Just... personal stuff. Nothing to worry about." He shrugged it off, but Mia wasn't entirely convinced.
"Alright, as long as you keep your head in the game," he replied, her tone casual but watchful. "This next deal could be huge for us."
Matteo's close circle of friends-Jo, Nathan, Albert, and Teros-had always been by his side, working together in both the business world and in their shared ventures. They were not just colleagues; they were trusted allies, each playing a significant role in the success of their operations.
"This next deal will make us unstoppable," Jo said confidently. "We've got the momentum from STK, and if we play our cards right, we'll own the market."
Nathan nodded in agreement. "Yeah, but we have to be smart. We can't get too comfortable."
Matteo, listening carefully, was glad to have such capable people around him. But even in this room of close friends, he found it hard to push aside his growing obsession with Isabella.
Matteo gave her a small smile. "Don't worry, I'm fully committed. Let's make it happen."
As they continued to strategize, Matteo couldn't help but think of how the balance between his personal life and the world of business was becoming increasingly difficult to maintain. The success of the STK deal had been thrilling, but he knew that the stakes were only getting higher-from the boardroom to his growing connection with Isabella.
With the future of his empire on the line, Matteo was determined not to let anything slip through his fingers, especially not her.
