AS THE DAUGHTER led Anakin deeper into the ruins, the atmosphere pulsed with energy. The shimmering light around her enveloped him, creating an almost hypnotic glow. Aruna, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka trailed behind, unease knotting in Aruna's stomach.
"Anakin, wait!" she called out, but the Daughter glanced back at him, her expression inviting and serene.
"It's okay, Aruna," Anakin replied, glancing over his shoulder. "I need to see what she has to show me. This could be important."
"Important? Or dangerous?" Aruna shot back, her heart racing. "We don't know her intentions. She could be leading you into a trap!"
Ahsoka frowned, clearly torn. "But what if she really does have knowledge we need? Maybe we should trust him."
"I don't like this," Aruna said, crossing her arms as she watched Anakin step further into the light with the Daughter. "Something doesn't feel right."
Obi-Wan's gaze was sharp. "We must remain vigilant. Anakin is capable, but he can also be impulsive."
"Exactly!" Aruna exclaimed, her anxiety bubbling over. "You know how he is, Obi-Wan. If he gets in too deep, he might not be able to get back."
The Daughter turned to Anakin, her voice melodic. "You must embrace your destiny, Anakin Skywalker. Your path is intertwined with the fate of the galaxy."
Aruna felt a chill run down her spine as the shadows surrounding the chamber seemed to deepen, flickering ominously. "Anakin!" she shouted, her voice rising with desperation. "Don't go too far! We need to stick together!"
But Anakin hesitated only for a moment, glancing back at her. "I'll be okay. I'll find out what she wants. Just stay close to Obi-Wan and Ahsoka."
With that, he stepped forward, disappearing into the soft luminescence surrounding the Daughter. Aruna's heart sank as she watched him fade from view, swallowed by the very shadows that had seemed to reach for them earlier. . Aruna's heart raced as they ventured deeper, her instincts screaming at her to be cautious.
"Stay alert," Obi-Wan instructed, his voice low as they moved cautiously. "We don't know what else lurks in these shadows."
Suddenly, a dark figure emerged from the depths of the chamber, blocking their path. The shadows coalesced around him, revealing a tall, imposing figure with piercing eyes that radiated an unsettling power. The Son stood before them, his presence commanding and menacing.
"So, the Jedi have come to play," the Son drawled, a sly smile creeping across his lips. "What an unexpected surprise."
"Who are you?" Ahsoka asked, her lightsaber ignited and at the ready.
"I am the Son," he replied, his voice smooth yet laced with danger. "And my sister said to wait."
Aruna stepped forward, her grip tightening around her lightsaber. "Did she now?"
"Well we were unfortunately separated, we'd like our ship back if you don't mind." Obi wan told the son, not really taking him serious
The Son chuckled, the sound echoing ominously. "Not yet, is it true that he is the chosen one?"
Anakin, the chosen one.
As in sync, the three of us ignited our lightsabers
"What do you know of such things?" Obi-Wan questioned , his expression taken aback .
"What is about to happen shall occur, whether you like it or not." He says fiercely, with the flick of his hand he turned off all of their lightsabers, Aruna stood in shock at such power
"You are sith." Obi wan accused
"Sith?" The son chuckled, "yes.. and no."
"What?" Aruna deadpanned
"The storms here are quite lethal, if you want to live I suggest you find shelter." The son commented, changing the subject as he shape shifted into a weird looking bat and flew into the night sky leaving the three of them to stand there with confusion
"What in the universe was that?" Ahsoka said puzzled at the interaction
As the fierce winds howled through the desolate landscape, Aruna, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan pressed forward, seeking refuge from the storm that raged above them. The sky was a chaotic swirl of dark clouds, and flashes of lightning illuminated the ominous shadows around them.
"Over there!"Aruna shouted, pointing to a narrow opening in the rocky hillside. "A cave!"
They hurried toward the entrance, the biting wind nipping at their heels. As they ducked inside, the storm's fury was momentarily muted, replaced by the echoes of their hurried breaths. The cave was dimly lit, the walls damp and cold, but it offered a necessary shelter from the tempest outside.
"Stay close," Obi-Wan instructed, scanning the shadows of the cave. "We can't afford to let our guard down, even here."
Aruna leaned against the cave wall, trying to catch her breath. "Do you think we'll be safe here for a while?"
Ahsoka nodded, her expression serious. "We have to be. The Son is still out there, and Anakin..."
As they settled into the cave, the wind outside began to die down, but Aruna felt a restless energy coursing through her. She sat against the cool stone wall, her thoughts tangled in worry for Anakin. Exhaustion finally caught up to her, and despite the chaos of her mind, she closed her eyes, allowing sleep to take her.
In the depths of her dreams, Aruna found herself in a familiar place—a grassy meadow bathed in soft sunlight. The air was fragrant with wildflowers, and for a moment, she felt at peace. But that peace was short-lived as a shadow fell over her, darkening the landscape.
"Aruna..." The voice was soft but urgent. She turned, and there stood her twin sister, her face a mixture of fear and determination. "You must listen to me."
"Where have you been?" Aruna asked, rushing forward, desperation filling her voice. "I've missed you!"
"We don't have time for that," her sister replied, her tone sharp. "Anakin is in grave danger. The darkness is closing in on him, and if you don't act fast, he will be lost forever."
"Lost?" Aruna's heart raced. "What do you mean?"
Her sister's expression turned grave. "He is being manipulated. There is a darkness that whispers to him, promises of power that will only lead to his ruin. You must help him remember who he is before it's too late."
Suddenly, the landscape shifted, and shadows loomed around them, dark figures whispering malevolent words. Aruna felt a shiver run down her spine. "What do I do? How can I save him?"
"Believe in him," her sister urged, stepping closer. "But you must confront the darkness together. He needs your strength, Aruna. Don't let fear paralyze you."
As the shadows grew closer, a feeling of urgency washed over Aruna. "I will do whatever it takes. I won't let him fall."
The dream began to fade, and she felt herself being pulled away from the meadow. "Aruna! Remember what I said!" her sister's voice echoed, fading into the darkness.
With a sudden jolt, Aruna woke, gasping for breath. The cave was dimly lit, but the weight of her sister's warning lingered in her mind. She pressed a hand to her forehead, feeling the remnants of the dream swirl around her like a haunting melody.
