she didn't want her father to talk about harry, she didn't want to hear his name coming out of her fathers mouth. the mouth that nothing nice came out of.
"he's moving into the s.hit house on forest street." her father said with disgust. "it's pathetic really how he's moving into that place."
lennon finished the salad and excused herself from the table, the chair scraped against the brick patio floor making a loud screeching noise. she could careless that she interrupted her father by the noise. she had enough of his s.hit for tonight.
without looking at her mother or her father she took her bowl into the kitchen and placed it into the sink.
how dare he critize other peoples living choices? she hated her father and how he thought he was so superior he was to others just because he has money. it made lennon sick. lennon jogged up the stairs to see the door to her bedroom that she always made sure was shut, was ajar.
lennon wasted no time in going in there to see who was there. she read many books and knew this was a stupid idea but she was in such a mood she really didn't care. all the sudden lennon heard running water and she peered into the bathroom to see that the intruder was just sarah.
sarah was standing infront of the mirror a wet washcloth pressed onto her forehead over her cut. lennon felt so bad. she hated her father, she also was upset with herself for her carelessness.
"sarah im so so sorry." lennon sincerely apoligized walking into the bathroom. sarah, not taking her eyes off the mirror spoke," i know honey. you were just trying to help."
"god! i f.ucking hate him!" lennon stated so upset that he hurt sarah. it wasn't the first time more like the seventh or eigth. just over the simplest things. her hatred towards her father grew stronger every day, he was a sick man.
lennon bended down and opened up the cherry wood cabinet to get out the peroxide and a couple band aids. she stood back up and took the wash cloth from sarah placing it on the sink, she grabbed a cotton ball out of a jar that sat on a wire shelving unit next to the sink and dumped some peroxide on it.
"you don't have to do this you know." sarah muttered staring at lennon.
"yeah i do, besides i want to. it's the least i could do for getting you in trouble." lennon dabbed the cut with the cotton ball making sarah wince. lennon was so sick of this routine, having to clean sarah up because her father was a grade a asshole to her. sarah didn't deserve this.
she hated him. she hated him. she hated him.
-.-.-.-.-.
the sun streamed in through the glass of the french doors hitting lennon in the face. lennons face grew warm from the sun and woke her up. except lennon didn't want to wake up and instead buried herself under her duvet. although the morning wasn't her favorite time of day, it was the time of day her father wasn't around so it did have it's perks.
lennnon lied there on her comfortable bed and tried to go back asleep which failed. one, she was suffocating because the it was already pretty warm out and she had a duvet pulled over her head, but she also didn't want to move. second, if she did move the duvet the sun would hit her directly in the face no matter where she moved to her on her bed because the sun shone all over it.
lennon muttered a screw it knowing she won't be able to fall back asleep and threw the duvet off of her and tumbled ungracefully off her bed and onto the half empty pizza box on the floor. she quickly rolled off of it not wanting to totally smush the left over pizza. she opened the box to see that the half of pizza left was not smushed by some miracle.
lennon let out a sigh of relief and took a slice out. she loved cold pizza, especially from leo's pizza shop. lennon enjoyed her good cold slice of pizza laying on her carpet, out of the sunlight. when she was done with the piece of pizza lennon stood up and stretched.
lennon opened the french doors and stepped out onto her balcony. the gentle breeze made the fly aways that escaped her messy bun tickle her face, but she didn't care the breeze felt good in the sticky heat. lennon could tell it was going to be a nice day today because the sky was a baby blue color with white fluffy clouds.
a perfect day for a bike ride. lennon went back inside not bothering to shut the french doors to get some fresh air in her room. lennon decided to take a shower and then start getting ready to head out.
after her shower lennon got dressed in some dark wash jean high waisted shorts, and a simple black tank top tucked in. she french braided her hair from the bottom up into a messy bun, because it was too hot too leave it down on her neck.
she grabbed her backpack and put in the book about astromony so when her legs got tired she could stop and read. lennon also grabbed her phone, earbuds and her cannon camera putting them in her bag. she grabbed her backpack by one of the straps and her converse with her other free hand. closing her bedroom door with hand that was holding her backpack.
she walked down the stairs to an empty kitchen much to her delight. lennon set her bag on the floor next to the island along with her shoes. lennon then began to get the peanut butter and jelly to make a couple sandwiches since she was planning to be out all day. with sandwiches bagged and her purple stainless steel water bottle half filled with water and lots of ice cubes to keep it cold lennon put them in her backpack.
she was eager to get going since it was already eleven according to her watch, she slipped on her high top converse and and swung on her backpack. grabbed a sticky note off the island and wrote that she would be gone all day and will be back before seven.
lennon left through the back door and walked to the garage to get her bike out. it was such a beautiful day, and lennon was excited to go on a adventure all day. lennon pulled out her bike and took a seat on it ready to go. making sure there were no cars, lennon began to peddle down the street.
it didn't take long before houses began to appear less and less because she lived in small town, and she didn't care. lennon felt as if she was free. she came to the end of the current street she was on and slowed down coming to a complete stop at the stop sign. she quickly looked to see if their were any cars coming which was a little difficult due to all the trees.
when lennon did that she caught a glimpse of the street sign, forest street. the street harry supposedly lived on. lennon was planning to go the other way, but she was curious and decided to go down forest street. she hasn't been down to this street in years and forgot what the house looked like. she peddled slowly down the street trying to spot the house that harry was moving into, but all she could see were trees.
lennon then spotted it, the house, but she couldn't really see the house very clearly though because of the trees hiding it. but what she could see very well was a beat up orange jeep cherokee in the drive way that a shirtless harry was standing next to.
