lennon smiled at harry as she climbed in the jeep, something that felt normal doing.

"long time no see." harry joked as lennon buckled herself in.

"oh yeah," she laughed "long time."

dusk was upon them and it was almost dark out. the sky was a dark blue color looking pretty against the silhouettes of the trees. the temperature also dropped so it wasn't that hot out and was more of a comfortable one. perfect for a adventure.

"so harry what is the plan?" lennon asked the curly headed boy who was watching the road.

"hmm." he hummed tapping his fingers against the wheel in a rythmn "how much time do you think we have?"

lennon thought about this, since they were in a good mood tonight that probably meant dinner,drinks, and home. plenty of time.

"probably midnight." lennon answered looking at harry searching his face for any sign of what he might have in mind. harry nodded in response. lennon wanted to know though.

"so what are we doing?" she asked impatiently. harry shook his head.

"it's a surprise." he told her making her groan.

lennon didn't get surprises often, and weren't to fond of them. she figured that harry's though would be an exception.

"it's going to be awhile by the way." harry added making lennon groan again and glare at him for making the wait longer. harry glanced at her to see that she was glaring at him.

"hey!" he shouted defensively "you're going to love it, so relax."

lennon just shook her head adjusting herself so she was sitting criss cross applesauce in her seat. then fiddled with the radio finding a station she liked. sexy back started blaring out the speakers by justin timberlake making lennon squeal. she hasn't heard the song in forever.

"i'm bringing sexy back." harry sung suprising lennon that he would know this song.

"yeah?" lennnon sang back.

"those m.otherf.uckers don't know how to act." harry sang again looking at lennon wiggling his eyebrows. this made lennon laugh. her hand flew up to her mouth to try to conceal the giggles coming out of her mouth but did not work.

harry sang along dramatically making lennon laugh. when the song ended lennon began to feel thirsty from all the laughing of course and was looking out the window for any signs of life or drink places for that matter. all she saw though was trees.

"harry i'm thirsty." lennon said to harry hopeful he would stop and get her something to drink.

"i think there is a burger king coming up soon. not sure though." harry told her turning on another road. lennon was grateful though he was stopping, because she was parched.

harry was right, the trees became fewer and it looked like they were entering civilization again. harry pulled into the burger king making lennon cheer.

"what do you want?" harry asked lennon as he pulled up to the speaker box thing.

"a medium strawberry bannana smoothie, please." she told him emphasizing the please making harry roll his eyes.

harry told the lady through the speaker the order and pulled up to the next window. within five minutes they were pulling out of the burger king parking lot lennon sipping on her smoothie that harry bought her.

"thank you harry." lennon said to him resting her head on his shoulder. he tensed at first but then relaxed. the night is still young came on the radio by nicki minaj and it fit the moment perfectly. lennon sat up, she was surrounded by lots of bright lights and tall buildings, harry took her into the city. somewhere she never been before.
