I stepped inside, Adelia stared in shock as the large metal gates slowly opened and they stepped inside, "Okay well you can find the role room to the left of the city, once you have a role go to your Elite, they will direct you from there" Jesse instructed us before walking away, Adelia smiled at me, "this place looks safe, cmon, let's get our role"
We wandered the city till we found the small building marked 'role rooms' and we walked inside, the room was dark, a screen illuminating, 'state your identity' I read, I spoke "Aiden Draze, 17, 15th of May is my birthday" it buzzed 'state what role you wish to pursue' I thought for a moment before speaking, "I wish to join the defence clan" it buzzed again before going silent, it buzzed again and spoke, 'please go see Elite Danny now', I nodded and left...
A lot has happened today and its only 10am, I wonder what Danny's like... Will he be nice?
I walk to the front gates and climb the spiral stares to see Danny, at the top of the gates, staring down, "sir, hello, I'm Aiden, I'm your new trainee" he didn't turn to look at me, "hm... hey... welcome to Destia" I smiled slightly and approached him, "sir, I just got my role, can you give me a job to do?" He still didn't even look at me, "got to the training court, your trainer, Randa, will take you from there" I nod, "Okay sir, thank you"
I turned to walk away when he spoke, "and a little friendly advice, if you ever lay a hand on Lana, you will be bammed from this role and executed by the Destian himself" he sounded harsh, it sent a chill down my spine but I nodded and walked quickly away.
I arrived at the training court, various training dummys scatter around the court, a woman with an emotionless stare walked up to me, "Aiden?" "Yes?" "Come on, we've got a lot of training to do"
She takes me to a branch of still targets, she passes me a shotgun, "hold this carefully, make your shots and keep your eyes on the target" She instructs me, I nod, I've used a gun before, I can do it again, I held up the shotgun, looking through the sniping hole and flawlessly shot the dummy straight in the head, "BINGO!" She shouted as she jumped in happiness
We continued training for a few hours, before I knew it, it was 3pm, I had finished my training and we were both exhausted, so I had some free time... but how should I spend it?
