Dream X Reader
______You log into the Minecraft server, excited for another day of adventures. As you spawn in, you see Dream's familiar green hoodie-clad avatar waiting for you at the entrance of your shared base. He waves enthusiastically, and you can't help but smile.
"Hey there, sleepyhead!" Dream teases, his voice coming through your headset. "Ready for today's adventure?"
You laugh, shaking your head. "Always. What's the plan?"
Dream grins. "I was thinking we could build a cozy little cottage by the lake. Something just for us."
Your heart flutters at the thought. "That sounds perfect."
Together, you gather materials, chatting and laughing as you work. Dream tells you stories about his latest speedrun attempts, and you share your own tales of survival and exploration. The sun rises and sets in the game, but time seems to fly by as you build side by side.
As you place the final block on the roof, Dream steps back to admire your handiwork. "It's beautiful," he says softly. "Just like you."
You blush, grateful that he can't see your face through the screen. "Thanks, Dream. I couldn't have done it without you."
He moves closer, his avatar standing next to yours. "You know," he begins, his voice a little more serious, "I really enjoy spending time with you. Whether we're building, exploring, or just goofing around, it always feels special."
Your heart skips a beat. "I feel the same way, Dream. You're my favorite part of this game."
There's a moment of silence, and then Dream speaks again, his voice warm and sincere. "I'm glad we met, even if it's just in Minecraft. You mean a lot to me."
You smile, feeling a warmth spread through your chest. "You mean a lot to me too, Dream."
As the in-game sun sets, casting a golden glow over your newly built cottage, you and Dream sit together on the porch, watching the stars come out. It's a simple moment, but it's filled with a sense of peace and contentment.
"Here's to many more adventures," Dream says, raising an imaginary toast.
"To many more," you agree, feeling happier than you ever thought possible in a blocky, pixelated world.
