Aria's POV
It's been three days since Ms. Anderson told us that we would be having a new classmate. Just like Cas, they are already thinking on how good-looking this dude might be. As for me? I don't care about it; I will not waste my time thinking about what his attitude might be.
"Hey, Aria! Do you have any plans, uhm, for next week?" Mile asked me. Mile was one of the smart kids here in school, not to the point that he can take away my title though.
"What for, Mile? It depends." I said. I don't want to say something without knowing why I'm being asked like that.
"Well, Henry, Caitlyn, and me were having tutoring for grade schoolers. We already asked for Ms. Anderson's permission; she said okay." said Mile. "It's for their upcoming exams; well, Mr. Edwards, the head teacher for Elven Grade School, asked for help, so I thought of including you as one of the tutors." he added.
To be honest, that's quite a good act. I love teaching, especially to kids.
"I'm not sure yet, Mile. I'm worried about the possible missed activities I will face during that particular day." I answered him. Although I want to join them, I don't want to miss a lesson or an activity; it will affect my grades. "I'm also studying for the chemistry fair next month; I'll check my schedule if I'm available next week." I continued.
"Sure, no worries, Aria! Good luck!" he said and went back to his seat.
It's currently break time, and there are a lot of gossips nearby. I don't want to hear it, but I'm kinda curious.
"ARIAAAAA! Come on, join us! You have to experience girl talk once in a while, you know?" Cas invited me to join their circle.
Cas is my best friend since we're in nursery. Even though we're close friends, she also has her own group of friends, and I don't want to associate with them. I can't handle a lot of people in my circle.
"Okay, sure, thank you." I said.
"We're having spin the bottle! To whoever the bottle lands on, will receive a question!" Cas said, I expected this already.
"PLEAASEEE, LET'S BEGIN CAS!!!" Hailey exclaimed; she's one of the popular girls.
"Calm down, Hailey, here it goesss!" Cas began to spin the bottle.
The bottle stopped, and it's pointing at me.
"Wellll, Aria, I have a question for youuu!" Elise exclaimed.
"Go ahead, Elise." I said.
"Have you ever fallen in love with someone else?" Elise giggled.
"I haven't yet." I answered.
"Really??? I don't think ssoooo!!" Cas exclaimed.
Then someone barged in our room. It's Ms. Anderson, with a boy with him. Is it the new boy Ms. Anderson was talking about?
"Settle down, people. As I've announced before, you'll be having a new classmate. Come on, Cerion, introduce yourself." Ms. Anderson introduced.
Cerio, Cerion? Or whatever his name is, went in front of the class and waved. I guess he's shy, huh?
"Good day, everyone. I'm Cerion Smith; you can call me Io. I'll be your new classmate, I'm not expecting everyone to be kind towards me, but I want everyone to be ready in terms of academics. Thank you." Cerion introduced himself. He's very confident and narcissistic as well.
"Lookin' confident, boy, huh?" Jax said, then laughed.
"Well, I am confident enough to defeat the brain, Ms. Thompson." he pointed at me. So, he wants competition; let's see.
