Lana knew she couldn't ignore it. The whispers weren't just a figment of her imagination, and Hollow Creek wasn't finished with her yet. Despite every instinct telling her to stay far away, she packed her bags the next morning and headed back to the town she had sworn she would never see again.The drive back to Hollow Creek was long filled with memories she wished she could forget. She remembered the feeling of the forest closing in around her, the sense that something was always watching from just beyond the trees. She remembered the weight of the knife in her hand as she ended Sarah's life, and the final words Sarah had spoken before collapsing into the darkness.

The town looked much the same as it had five years ago, quiet, almost sleepy and never changing, but there was something darker lurking beneath the surface. It was as if the air had thickened with fog on her arrival, the whispers waiting just out of earshot.
Lana checked into the same crumbling hotel she stayed in years ago. The woman behind the desk gave her a strange look, like she recognised her but couldn't quite place why. As Lana settled into her room, she turned on the TV to drown out the uneasy silence, but her mind kept drifting back to the phone call.
Who had called her? Why now, after all these years? And more importantly, was the Whispering Killer truly gone?
