The place smelt strongly of heavy perfume mixed with cologne and the nose-burning scent of isopropyl alcohol.

Heavy electronic and synth-pop music violently blared across the loudspeaker on the stage as it even managed to pour into the individual rooms.

At the end of the hall, behind a black door with what looked to be a giant sparkly blue ribbon slapped onto its front, resided the favorite in the entirety of the vicinity.

VP. Vanilla Pudding.

Face down, ass up, with his smooth pale arms that were covered in lacy black trumpet sleeves now pinned against his arched back.

His body jerked as the heavy creaking of the bed echoed within the room, his body burning as the multiple sips of alcohol and his mind and vision clouded with haze.

"Ngh-! T-too much..," Pudding's voice whined out, though it only came out as gurgles in his ear, "Please..."

"No no, it can't be too much," A deep, condescending masculine voice seemed to echo behind him as his ass which was already a raspberry red was slapped harshly before being gripped, "You love this."

"You love it so much, that's why you're able to take it, just like the dirty slut you are, Pudding."

"No...no, I'm not..," Pudding huffed, finding himself about to dry release for the nth time, "I hate this, I hate-," no longer having it in them to finish that sentence as they looked ahead into the mirror.

Pudding couldn't see it.

He couldn't see their eyes.

"You hate what? Surely not me right," The person hummed enthusiastically, suddenly snatching Pudding's chin forcing Pudding to look into their obscured eyes, "You know it's true. You know you could never hate me."

"So say it."

"Say you love me pudding." They urged, reducing their speed and fucking deeper into Pudding.

"I..." Pudding croaked out, tearfully, "I..."

"I hate you." Dan's voice broke through the silence of his other wide silent bedroom.

Inside the modernized and spacious master bedroom of unit 276, the lights were off, with only two of the high-rise windows cracked a smidge to let in some of the breeze to act as natural air conditioning.

Shifting towards the middle of the room, Kim Dan had slept near the left edge of the bed, clinging tightly to the opposite pillow. His jaw clenched as his teeth uncomfortably grinded together and his eyes squeezed.

Pinpricks of beaded sweat decorated his forehead, with his palms gone clammy.

His torso shifted from side to side, letting out a shudder.

"I...hate you so much," Dan huffed harder, as a tear slipped down his face.

And suddenly, a heavy vibration from his phone snapped him up from his dream.

He let out sharp, quick breaths, sitting upright immediately and wiping his face. His cheeks flushed out of both mortification and relief while his heart raced.

"Just a dream..." Dan mumbled under his breath, trying to console himself, tugging his blanket closer to his body as a means of 'protection'. After moments passed, his attention turned from the ceiling to his cell phone that charged on his nightstand.

Slowly reaching out, Dan unplugged it and without thinking he swooped accept the call, pressing it to his ear,

"Hello?"

"Dan! Hey hey hey!" Heesung's drunken voice rang on the other side of the line, clearly disregarding proper phone call etiquette, "What's up?"

Letting out another sigh, this time out of small intriguement Dan placed his phone onto his pillow, resting beside it.

"I was sleeping and you startled me with the sudden call." Dan answered bluntly, choosing to duly note the fact that he was mere seconds away from waking up from that nightmare anyway, "So what's so urgent you needed to call now and not later?"

"I'm plotting." Heesung hiccuped, "People are plotting on me."

Dan raised his brows in slight confusion, unsure if he should just hang up or continue to listen to Heesung's drunken rambles.

"I met someone here that might just be worth my time, and just what do I know? They are so not the little bottle boy I was expecting." Heesung added, as Dan could hear what he imagined to be the ruffling of sheets, "Isn't that crazy?"

With a dry huff, Dan nodded along, "You tend to jump to conclusions a lot, so I'm not really surprised."

He then perked up, looking out his window at the still-lit high-rise buildings, "Heesung, while you're having fun with another person, I hope you haven't forgotten what's to come by tomorrow."

"Huh? Oh, you mean about the shipment," Heesung chirped, sounding a bit more focused, "Of course I haven't."

"How's it coming along? Any word from our people in the U.S.?"

Dan recalled from yesterday afternoon, how he had gotten email confirmation from their people in St. Thomas that the cargo had been picked up with no problem and was still en route to Nevada.

"Yeah it went by without a hitch," Dan answered, finding a bit of relief knowing importation to the U.S typically had one problem or another, "Now it's just a matter of staying underground until Mr.Joo's people pick it up and give him confirmation that they have it."

"And then, it's smooth sailing!" Heesung exclaimed, "You and Jaekyung will make great business partners, I'm sure."

"Let's not jump the gun," Dan urged, still unsure of both the idea of full-time working with Jaekyung and having his name out there and the idea that he'd be left all alone now that Heesung was considering leaving the company to him, "There's still so much left, so we need to be serious about this, Heesung."

He listened to a subtle laugh echo on the other side of the line, finding slight irritants at how lax Heesung was.

"Something funny?" Dan inquired, as he listened to a sigh escape Heesung's lips.

"I know I shouldn't, but I just can't help but laugh whenever you get so worked up like this over nothing," Heesung admitted, "You kinda remind me of my old pudding hamster I had when I was a kid."

Feeling shivers traverse down his spine, Dan bit his lip, "Pudding hamster..."

"Yup. loved it like it was my own child," Heesung carried on, "I doted on it, I loved it and it loved me back. We were inseparable."

"Well, until my dad found out I was neglecting my duties for it and he got rid of it."

Dan felt his breath hitch, listening to a scoff come from Heesung.

"Stupid.." Heesung mumbled under his breath before clearing his throat, "This call is taking too long, so how about this,"

"I'll call you tomorrow, or you call me and we can discuss whatever comes next for this partnership, mkay?"

Dan didn't even respond, as the call ended and he was left staring at his now-sleeping phone screen.

"Okay..." He whispered, slanting further into his sheet, and staring at the adjacent wall.
