"16, 17, 18." I counted. Astoria, Theo, Mattheo, Draco and Blaise looked at me in disgust while Daphne, Lorenzo and Tobias were looking at me in confusion but also amusement (but Tobias was mainly looking at me in confusion.) and Pansy was just eating her toast and trying to stop herself from laughing.
"Y/n, that's plenty of sugar in your cereal." Lorenzo stated. I looked up from my bowl and stared at him,
"My body, my rules, Berkshire." I responded. Lorenzo put his hands up in defence and snorted a bit.
"Why are you putting sugar in your cereal?" Tobias asked as he leaned forward.
"Because I have free will." I answered while putting back the sugar spoon back in its pot and started eating the cereal. Astoria, Theo, Mattheo, Draco and Blaise started gagging in disgust while Pansy, Daphne, Lorenzo and Tobias started laughing.
"How do you live with yourself?" Mattheo asked with his face all scrunched up. I ignored him with taking another bite making him look away and cover his mouth with his hands. I laughed as I took another bite.
"Ok!" Daphne started and clapping her hands to get our attention.
"The girls and I have to go. We have to be at Honeydukes and The Three Broomsticks."
"Why?" The girls and I said in unison as we faced her with our brows furrowed.
"Because it's our first day working there." Daphne replied. 3 days ago the girls and I wanted to make extra money and so we went to look for jobs. It wasn't my idea, all I wanted to do was sleep all day and do nothing. But now, I have to go to work, which I never planned to attend too. Daphne forced me to go! So now Daphne and I have to work at Honeydukes with the sweets, while Pansy and Astoria are at The Three Broomsticks. And sure Daphne and I can have all the free sweets we want, but Pansy and Astoria have all the Butterbeer they want!
"Ohhh, you're telling me that wasn't some sort of nightmare?" I groaned. Pansy and Astoria agreed and pouted while Daphne rolled her eyes and scoffed while trying to hide a smile, but failed miserably.
"We're going!" Daphne got up and grabbed my wrist and pulled me up. I rolled my head back and went limp.
"Noooooo!!!" I groaned as Daphne tried to stabilise me.
"Uh oh, we got a ragdoll. Guys a little help here please?" Daphne said. Soon I felt two strong hands grab my legs as they started walking backwards. I lifted my head to see who it was at it was Lorenzo. I might've blushed and felt butterflies just a tiny bit. JUST A TINY BIT!
I also saw that Pansy and Astoria were practically dragging themselves out the Great Hall. Pansy, Astoria and I were like this the whole way to Hogsmeade and the boys were completely entertained and were laughing.
"We're here!" Daphne panted as she let me down on the floor. I groaned as Daphne dragged me inside of Honeydukes. The lights were turned off and when we entered I heard a loud ding above me. I waved goodbye at the rest of them as Daphne set me behind the counter. I grabbed a stool and sat down as my head fell onto the counter. I heard muffled laughing outside and recognised it as the boys'.
"Oh cheer up! We only finish at 7pm." said Daphne. I looked up at her in shock. I looked at the clock and I was baffled as I looked back at her.
"7pm?! It's only 6:52am!" I said as I pointed to the clock.
As soon as it hit 7am, the shop started swarming with students. It wasn't long after that the whole shop was filled to the brim with people and very extremely noisy. I rubbed my eyes as the noise of the fucking coocoo clock struck 4pm.
