Picnic

The following weeks have been kind of fun to be honest. I never thought I'd have fun in my entire life, really. If 10 year old me saw this, she'd think I'd gone...mad or something.

I'm still thinking of that dream I had, it's the only thing reminding me that it might be worth it, I looked really happy. I keep thinking of it and it's the only thing keeping me sane.

Daphne says she has a surprise for all of us and when I tried to ask her about it she put her finger to my lips and said "You'll see soon, my sweet." And we tried to contain laughter, even Daphne was struggling to keep a straight face as she stroked my face, that's when we all completely lost it.

It's currently a Saturday and i'm currently in the dorm room, doing my skincare as I just got out of the shower. Pansy and Astoria are doing their makeup and Daphne is out and preparing her surprise. As Pansy and Astoria finish their makeup they go to their wardrobe to pick out an outfit, and so do I. It's becoming Spring so I just put on a pair of jeans and a tight short sleeved white top. You know, something basic but slightly cute as well. Daphne soon bursts through the door as I'm struggling to put my earrings in as she says,

"Leaving in 5 minutes! We're leaving with or without you." Daphne says quickly and closes the door immediately. Astoria is struggling to put her shoes on and Pansy is already leaving. I grab a jumper from my wardrobe, put my shoes on and grabbed Isadora and soon Astoria and I left.

We rushed down the stairs and met everyone in the common room. As soon as Daphne saw us she raised her arms and says,

"Well fucking finally!" With a small chuckle at the beginning.

"What took you so long?" She asked and Astoria looked at her watch and says,

"Thought you said you'd be leaving with or without us in 5 minutes. It's now been 10 minutes." Astoria says and Daphne looks like she's about to smack the FUCK out of her.

"Well this is a good surprise, hopefully, and I didn't want you shitheads to miss it. Now c'mon!" Daphne grabs our arms and starts dragging us out of the common room and soon leading us to the Forbidden Forest.

"Are you going to sacrifice us, Daph?" Joked Draco. Daphne rolled her eyes and we soon arrived near a little lake with a picnic blanket and basket. Daphne let go of me and Astoria's arms and started fiddling with her fingers.

"Ta da! I know it's not really much but-." Daphne was cut off by Theo,

"You did all this?" Theo was looking at the massive picnic blanket and it had like A SHIT TON of food around it. I wasn't really surprised when Mattheo and Blaise sprung themselves onto the blanket and started shoving the food in their mouths.

We were all playing around and laughing. It feels good to laugh with them, it's peaceful. The place Daphne chose to have this picnic is peaceful. Isadora was climbing on my shoulder and onto my head and was acting like she was the all high and mighty. Blaise took out his phone and took a picture. After a while Isadora jumped off and laid in a pile of daisy's. It was so cute.

Everyone was now doing their own thing. Blaise was throwing cherry's in Draco's mouth, Enzo and Theo were trying to climb a tree (keyword:trying.), Pansy and Astoria were playing in the lake and Daphne and I were just chatting and eating some fruit.

"So, what's going on with you and Enzo?" Daphne whispered low enough for only me to hear.

"Still friends." I answered while eating a strawberry.

"But you to be more than friends," Daphne singed and I smacked her playfully.

"But yes, I do." And I threw a strawberry into my mouth and caught it.

"How did you do that? We've been trying to get a single cherry in Draco's mouth and you did it effortlessly!" Blaise complained. I shrugged as I didn't know how I even did it.

After a while, I heard some cheering above us so I looked up to see Enzo and Theo successfully up the the top of the tree they've been trying to climb for the past hour.

"Do you two have any idea how to get down?" I asked them. Enzo was the first to answer and says,

"No." And he shook his head and he and Theo laughed.

"We were hoping you could get us down with your Wanda powers!" Theo shouted back. I groaned and stood up. I turned on my powers and let it dance around my fingertips. I lifted up my arms to grab the boys and my powers wrapped around them and lifted them from the tree. My green powers moved swiftly as I lowered them down. Enzo was pretending to fly or something and Theo was screaming in fear.

"Do you want me to drop you?" I said jokingly. Theo continued to scream but as the ground was coming nearer he stopped. Before they could even touch the ground, I detached my powers from them and they fell to the ground and groaned in pain but with a small laugh. I walked back to my spot on the picnic blanket and sat back down.

"That was amazing!" Enzo said gleefully as he stood up. Theo disagreed with him,

"For you it might've been. I was scared for my life!"

"I was going slow!" I told him.

"Yeah but we were very high up!" Theo continued.

"Baby." Enzo murmured but Theo heard and whacked him at the back of his head and the two laughed like a couple of children.

It was getting quite late so we packed everything up. Isadora was on my shoulder on the walk back.

"Thank you Daphne for this surprise. It was amazing!" I said to Daphne with a wide grin.

"You think? I wasn't quite sure if it was but thank you." She said and Daphne was still fiddling with her fingers but had a warm genuine smile on her face.

We all headed to our dorm room and headed to bed. Well not the girls and I.

"So Y/n wants to be more than friends with you know who!" Daphne singed and I threw a pillow at her as she laughed at my reaction.

"You want to date Voldemort?" Pansy joked. She knew exactly who Daphne was talking about.

"You need to tell him!" Astoria squealed as she sat up in her bed. I was hanging upside down from mine.

"What exactly am I supposed to tell him, Astoria? Hm?" I said. It was starting to irritate me because what exactly am I supposed to say? That he is my first crush in my entire life but he shouldn't be with me because I'm a sorcerer from an evil family but I really would like to be with him because I could hurt him with my powers? That's a perfect way to tell him! He won't be confused at all!

"Just go with it! Tell him you like him and see what happens next!" Astoria said. I sat up to look at her.

"Yeah, I'll just see what happens next shall I? I'll tell him how I feel and maybe he'll reject me maybe he'll not!" I groaned into my pillow and we heard a muffled laugh outside the door. Pansy got up and opened the door to reveal nobody there but there was running in the distance. Ok. Not going to ask questions anymore.

"I'm not going to talk about this anymore! I'm going to bed." I told them.

"So you can dream of you and Enzo." Pansy laughed and I threw another pillow at her.

But how am I going to tell Enzo? I can't keep it a secret forever. The girls are going to continue to tease me and the boys are definitely going to give clues and not even going to try and be subtle about it. I just don't know how to tell him.
