Jake pov

Finishing up with Sue's car I wipe my hands on a rag "you're breaks need changed" I say calmly, I know she knows this Harry would have known it easily but I don't say anything about it because I know she came to me to help me out.

I use to hate this, mistaking it as pitty but I understand now they're trying to help me without treating me like a charity case.

"I'll send Harry to get what you need" she offers and I nod watching her leave the house with her ride.

Heading inside I shower and change getting ready for school before picking up Sarah as she sleeps, quickly changing and dressing her I kiss her head then head out "dad I'm off" I tell me.

He nods waving at me before going back to his show, shaking my head I smile heading for school knowing my dad will handle her while I'm gone.

Embrys been home sick and can't have visitors I've noticed Sam's been watching him, I really hope he doesn't get involved with Sam's gang.

I've noticed them watching Quil and me as well but they've been focusing on Embry now.

After school

Walking to the house I see Leah leaving with Sarah and smile "where you two going?" I call smiling at them.

"We have important business that nosy dad's need to stay out of" she calls back before fixing her in a car seat and driving away.

Laughing I head in and sit by Dad "Leah stole Sarah again" he says sounding amused.

"I was told they have important business that nosy dad's need to stay out of" I answer hearing him chuckle.

"I didn't ask when she said that, not my business what important lady business they have" I add, I trust Leah with her and know she wouldn't put her in danger knowingly.

"She'll come back with her hair done and new clothes like always" Dad says smiling.

I nod and pull out my homework to start on it till Harry drops off the breaks for Sue's car.

Eventually I hear knocking and get up opening the door seeing Harry with the parts "I'll start it now" I say taking the parts as I go outside while he heads in to visit with dad.

Grabbing my tools I head to the car to get started.

A few hours later

"Jake, come in for dinner you can finish tomorrow" dad calls.

Getting up I stretch before heading to the house as Leah comes up, smile I wave seeing her get Sarah out before grabbing a bag, looking her over I see her hair done in a braid.

She lifts her hand waving and I see light pink nail polish on her nails "did Leah take you to get pretty nails?" I ask.

Sarah nods shoving her hand in my face saying pretty before grabbing her hair showing me.

"You look beautiful sweetheart" I say seeing her smile at me before I kiss her forehead "I'm dirty I'll go shower then join for dinner" I say smiling.

Leah pov

"Bella's dating that Cullen boy" I say sitting down across from Dad and Billy.

They both frown glancing at Sarah "Sarah is not to be around them" Billy says firmly.

I nod easily agreeing since I don't like Bella as it is, she's worthless as far as I'm concerned for abandoning Sarah.

Jake comes out with wet hair and smiles taking her "did you have fun with Leah?" He asks.

"Leha" she says smiling happily at me.

I smile at her before Jake offers me a hair tie and I nudge him so he turn then quickly braid his hair back for him standing up I wave to Sarah "I'll see you later" I whisper to her before leaving.

Walking with Dad he smiles putting an arm around my shoulders "she adores you" he says proudly.

"She's perfect, her being raised her with us is better then how that bitch would raise her"

He nods as we reach the car "just remember that girl looks up to you" he says before taking the keys.

Some time later Jake's pov

Walking up to Charlie's I frown seeing Bella rushing out with her boyfriend for God knows what Figures she'd run off when I bring Sarah.

Seeing Edward glare at me I scoff knocking on the door before going in finding Charlie putting his shot gun up.

"There's Grandpa's girl" he says taking her.

"I take it Bella knew she was coming?" I ask.

"I'm not sure, she's going to play baseball with the Cullens"

Laughing I glance out the window "in this weather and with her that's asking for trouble" I say shaking my head.

He nods smiling at me "what's the plan for the weekend?" He asks.

"I have a few jobs I need to do and study for some tests"

He nods smiling at Sarah "go on then, We'll be just fine we can watch the game".

"Leah plans to come visit her, since the whole Sam and Emily deal Sarah's the only reason she hasn't focusing on it, I think if she was she would do something she'd regret"

Charlie nods frowning "yeah, I remember she tried to get Harry's shot gun when she caught them".

Placing her bag down I head out to start studying for my test, walking out I wave to them before heading off.
