Leah pov

Sitting on the private jet with Donna by me, I glance seeing Jasper standing near the newborn called Bree and Victoria who keeps glaring at him holding Bree closer.

"Why's she doing that?" I ask.

"Major Whitlock found his true mate in Bree but she's a newborn that means for the next year Jasper needs Victoria's permission to be with her, to make it more complicated Victoria has a parent bond with Bree so she's extremely protective of her childe" Donna answers.

The Volturi vampires finally board and we start to take off "Major Whitlock, I understand you're urge to be near your mate, but sit down before you send her mother into a territorial fit" Jane says calmly while sitting down.

"So the family bonds are real does that mean the Cullens Bonds are real?" I ask.

"No, they are not bond family, Carlisle has manipulated them and since they have only drank animal blood they can't sense their bonds, Major Whitlock could because his senses were not completely gone, he had slips on the diet but never enough for him"

"Why do you call him that?" I ask frowning.

"He has other names, one that every vampire knows is the God of War, Major is another name that's less known but it a sign of respect between warriors" she answers.

"Like how he addresses us as Shifter or how my father called him Empath, depending on how you say it, it could be an insult or a sign of respect" Donna adds.

"How?"

"My father sneers or spits out seer and mind reader while he said empath calmly while nodding his head to him, sometimes there are different ways to address someone's gift and depending on what one you use could determine if it's an insult or not"

Nodding I glance at Victoria hugging Bree who looks at me "howler" she says softly before looking up at Victoria.

"Shifter" Victoria says softly before tucking her hair behind her ear.

Glancing up Jane tosses a file to Donna while reading the one she has "Bree, are you aware that your father killed your mother and you are presumed to have had the same fate?" Jane asks.

"No" she stutters out as Victoria holds her close.

"He abused you correct?" Jane asks ignoring Victoria.

Bree nods looking down "I have an idea for what punishment Victoria will face, unfortunately you will have to join her but if the Masters agree it will be one that will allow you to have a somewhat normal childhood and serve as Victoria's sentice".

Seeing Jane look at me I stiffen looking better them before shaking my head "no" I say quickly.

"It's an added protection, and this girl needs a home where she's embraced and loved, you're mother can help with it and teach Victoria how to act around humans, plus the witches have agreed to house them to help them adjust" Jane adds.

Jake pov

Holding Sarah I glance seeing Bella being carried down by Alice with Edward being held by Carlisle "damn human's like a roach" Elora says scoffing.

"Okay, who has the single brain cell you all share today?" She asks ignoring their offended looks.

"Fine don't answer, maybe they decided to divide it up between them" she mutters "you have till your honeymoon to change the pet human or your entire coven dies" she adds.

Following her back to the reservation I hold Sarah to my chest as she sits cradled in my arms, she smiles showing me her wolf "he brought puppy back" she says happily.

"That's good"

"Seth peed on the whiny boy" she adds pointing back to the Cullens "and Jane Beat him up" she laughs before looking around.

"Where the fire lady?"

"Fire Lady? I ask.

She nods lifting her hair "fire lady with fire hair".

So I've always thought Victoria deserved better than what happened and I do not believe James was her mate because a mate is someone you can't hurt, yet when James and Victoria first met he hunted her with plans to hurt her it was only her gift that saved her and made him change his mind

Bree had a shit human life and a shit second life she deserved better then what happened so I made her and Victoria have a parent/child bond because Victoria could be an amazing woman and mother if given a chance and Bree needs a parent who's so fiercely devoted she would start a war to protect her
