Ch41 Families grow stronger Part four dream cont...waking up

Before we left Rick gave me Beth's journal. "Inside here is
everything to her past. Read it and then talk it over together. Had
to pry it out of Sav's hands. Promise it will not change yer
feelings to one another."

"Promise. It's all in the past."

"True but it may help her on some of her nightmares. Believe me she
has to face it, just as I had to face the car accident. Joe if anyone
could I know it be you. You two need this honeymoon. Rediscover each
other and forget upsetting anyone. Screw them. I 'ave yer cell and
will call only if needed. You 'ave caller Id?"

"Ahe."

"Well if I were you and you wanted it to be a happy trip I wouldn't
answer any of Sav's calls."

"Won't." I took the journal and put it in my bag.

"Here, was going to give it to you on yer birthday but I want you
to 'ave it now." He handed me a video tape. "It was something special
I put together for you."

"Thanks."

"Don't worry about what happened the other night. Think I'm going to
be sticking with Lauren." I hugged him tight. I couldn't believe the
very first time I ever cried was when he was in the accident.

I didn't cry because we possible were going to lose a drummer but
because he was like my brother. Anyway we boarded the plane and I put
the video in my carryon bag.

Beth did her usual thing whenever she flies. She took her hearing
aid out and put her head on my chest. She hated to fly was scared to
death of it. Sometimes I got scared to but got use to it over the
years.

We split the cost of everything which felt odd but I rather liked it
that way. Once we landed in Caro we checked in the hotel and decided
to go sightseeing. I brought her journal with me and she got a
camera.

We found a lovely spot by a pyramid. I sat there and read the
entry's around her and Nick. I read it out loud to her and she laid
her head in my lap as I read it. So everything was true.

Why was it I got her pregnant all the time was a mystery to me. I
stopped at the last one begging for me to hear her. I looked down at
her shaded eyes. "Think he'll ever haunt you again?" I said brushing
her hair.

"Not as long as Oi got yer grouchy self to wake up to Oi won't." I
laughed and tossed the book. "May Oi."

She sat up and I handed her the book. She sat Indian style and poured
lighter fluid on it. I lit a match and we dropped it together on the
book causing us both to jump back when it light up. "No more. Let
it be over." She said holding me. I put my arm around her and we
watched it burn.

"No more." I kissed her on the head and then she wanted to take
pictures. We sat there after taken a few pictures and watched the
sun set. "Do you think there's mummies in there?"

"Don't know want a go find out?" I pushed her and she laughed.

"No rather take you back to the hotel and carry you over the thresh
hold." Shockley we really had no problems there. We spent a few days
there and she got board.

"Oi want a go to Romania." She said laying there about the fourth
day. The cell hadn't gone off and we had a few thing for the girls,
ourselves, Josh and the band. Even got Sav a peace offering.

"Romania, Why? Wait don't tell me Dracula."

She tackled me with tickles. I laughed letting her pin me. She still
had the cast on and it be a week before she'd get it off. "Board."

"Romania ok. Could be romantic." She kissed me.

"Oi'll pay for it."

"Deal." She booked wherever she wanted to stay and a flight out the
next day. I got half my money back for the days we weren't going to
be there.

So off to Romania. It was great actually seeing placed we never went
to cause we weren't allowed to. We did the same sightseeing and
picture taken. I spotted this lovely amethyst gold cross. I bought
it for her and had it sent to our room which we hadn't checked into
yet.

Along with a dozen purple roses. She was doing something in another
shop we had slit up in two different shops. I started to feel tired.
She came out and we meet in the street. "Want to go tour the castle?"

"What castle?" She turned me around and pointed to this big
castle. "It's Vlad Tepes?"

"Really no shit. Think we can really see it?"

"Mm maybe able to get close enough to it but I believe dat one is a
tourist site. This one." She turned me to this huge dark mountain
and you could barely make out the old castle there.

"Dat's the original one."

"Wow. Baby if you could get to the original one dat would be
something." We stared at it a bit.

"Want a be bad and try it." I looked at her.

"Honey we'd 'ave to hike up there and yer arm is in a cast and I
don't think I 'ave the energy to so for now let's go check out the
tourist one." She gave me a pouty look and I sucked on her bottom
lip and kissed her.

So we checked out the fake castle they had used for the movies and
to attract tourist. It was interesting to see Beth in all over old
things there. They told the story of Vlad Dracula otherwise known as
Vlad Tepes.

I thought England was bad with rulers. This guy had England beat by
a long shot. Finally we made it to the hotel and it was a grand
romantic hotel dat overlooked everything. Across the way you could
see the dark old castle.
