The endless blue of the sea stretched out before Rimuru and Ultima, the gentle breeze guiding their ship as they sailed further into the Grand Line. The ship, made from the rare Adam Wood, gleamed under the sun, a testament to their strength and craftsmanship. But even more important than the ship was the atmosphere on deck. The duo wasn't just cruising; they were training hard, sharpening their skills in this new world.

Ultima, her eyes focused, stood on one side of the deck, trying to heighten her senses: "Ciel, Azura, I need to push further. My Observation Haki is good, but I want to take it to the next level. I should be able to sense more than just nearby presences."

Her body relaxed as she let her senses expand. She was slowly learning to feel the subtle vibrations in the air, the ripples of life, far beyond her immediate surroundings.

On the other side of the ship, Rimuru was practicing his Armament Haki. He coated his fists with the black, hardened energy but was pushing it to form a barrier, the advanced technique that allowed for destructive force without even touching the enemy.

Rimuru, punching into the air with focused intent: "It's not enough to just coat my fists. I need to be able to flow the haki through objects, to cause internal damage."

He grinned to himself, determined to master this ability soon. The Grand Line was full of dangerous adversaries, and he wanted to be prepared for anything.

Suddenly, the sound of flapping wings broke the tranquility of their training. A seagull swooped down, dropping a small package on the deck—a newspaper with a letter attached to it. Rimuru raised an eyebrow, walking over to pick it up.

Rimuru, reading aloud: "A letter from the World Government? What do they want with us?"

Ultima, stopping her training, crossed her arms with a smirk: "Well, we've been making quite a name for ourselves. It was only a matter of time before they tried to get us on their side or take us down."

Rimuru opened the letter and scanned its contents. His expression shifted to mild amusement as he read.

Rimuru, chuckling: "They're inviting us to become Shichibukai—Warlords of the Sea."

Ultima, her eyes widening slightly: "Shichibukai? Those are pirates who work for the World Government, right? Why would they think we'd want that?"

Rimuru, still reading: "Apparently, if we accept, we'll get certain privileges, like being left alone by the Marines. But if we refuse..." He trailed off, then held up the paper for Ultima to see.

Ultima, leaning over to read the note: "They'll increase our bounties. Huh. Well, I'm not exactly afraid of higher bounties, but it could be fun to stir things up from the inside."

They both paused, thinking about the offer. Being part of the Shichibukai would mean freedom from being hunted by Marines, but it also meant playing along with the World Government's schemes. It was a tricky situation, one that they needed to consider carefully.

Ultima, tapping her chin: "What do you think? If we go, it could be a good way to learn more about the higher-ups in this world. Plus, we can cause chaos from within their ranks. But it also means we'll have to follow some of their rules, at least on the surface."

Rimuru, nodding thoughtfully: "Exactly. We could learn a lot about this world by being close to the World Government, but we'll have to keep up appearances. We don't exactly fit into their idea of a 'loyal pirate.' They'll probably try to use us."
