The waves of the New World stretched endlessly before them, the churning ocean as unpredictable and wild as the land it guarded. The sun glistened off the surface, but the skies above were unpredictable. Storms could form in an instant, and the sea creatures that roamed these waters were more ferocious than anything they had encountered in the First Half of the Grand Line. But Rimuru and Ultima were undeterred, their spirits high after successfully crossing into the fabled New World.

Standing on the deck of their ship, Rimuru leaned against the railing, gazing out into the distance. Ultima was lounging nearby, flipping through a map of the New World they had acquired back in Fishman Island. Neither of them had any particular destination in mind when they entered this part of the sea, but now the question of what to do next was starting to creep into their minds.

"So," Ultima began, not taking her eyes off the map, "what's our next move? We're in the New World now, but we can't just wander aimlessly forever."

Rimuru nodded, his eyes scanning the horizon. "Yeah, you're right. We need a plan. But what do you think we should do first? There are countless islands and nations here, all with their own problems."

Ultima grinned mischievously. "Well, I've been thinking. Since we're Shichibukai now, we have a certain level of freedom and authority. Why not take advantage of that and claim our own island? Every major pirate crew in the New World has a territory. If we want to make a name for ourselves, we should start by claiming a piece of it."

Rimuru considered her suggestion, a small smile playing on his lips. "That's a good idea. If we establish our own territory, we can use it as a base of operations. It'll give us leverage against any enemies and a safe place to retreat if things get too chaotic."

"Exactly!" Ultima said, her excitement growing. She folded up the map and tossed it aside. "And besides, taking control of an island sounds like fun. We can show the people here what real power looks like."

Rimuru chuckled. "You're always looking for a fight, aren't you?"

Ultima shrugged, a playful glint in her eyes. "Hey, it's not my fault most people are too weak to put up a decent challenge. But in the New World, I'm sure we'll run into some strong opponents. Besides, it's not just about fighting. It's about making our mark here."

"Fair enough," Rimuru agreed. "So, which island do you think we should go after? There are plenty to choose from."

Ultima picked up the map again and unfurled it across the deck. She traced her finger along the various islands and locations scattered throughout the New World. Some were already claimed by powerful pirate crews or under the protection of the Four Emperors, while others were more remote and uncharted.

"Hmm, how about this one?" Ultima said, tapping a spot on the map. "It's called Veldoria Island. According to the map, it's relatively unknown, and there's no major pirate crew ruling over it. But there's a nation on the island—probably a good place to start if we want to take control."

Rimuru glanced at the name on the map, raising an eyebrow. "Veldoria Island, huh? Sounds like a place with potential. What do we know about this nation that's there?"

Ultima shrugged. "Not much, but from what I can gather, they're not a part of the World Government. They're independent, which means we wouldn't have to worry about the Marines or the World Nobles getting involved if we take over. And they might have some resources we can use."

Rimuru nodded thoughtfully. "That could work. We'll need to gather more information about the nation and its people before we make any moves. But I like the idea. Let's head there and see what we're dealing with."
