Blush | Kim Seungmin

Chapter 1

Seungmin was so excited to finally be at university. He didn't know who his roommate was, but that didn't matter at the moment. He didn't want whoever it was to think that he was a baby with his parents here helping him unload his suitcases.

"Minnie baby -"

"Moooomm...Dont call me that," Seungmin whined, interrupting his mother.

Mrs. Kim giggled, "Seungmin, where do you want me to put your plushies?"

Seungmin's eyes widened. "You know what? I can put everything away, dont worry about it." He took the small duffel bag from his mother and put it on his bed. He didn't need his roommate walking in on his mom talking about a bag of plushies. That would surely be embarrassing.

"Are you sure, son? We only want to help. You are our baby, after all." Mr. Kim teased and giggled at Seungmin's reaction.

Seungmin quickly retaliated, "Dont call me a baby out loud!" He huffed, trying to be angry.

His parents chuckled. Mrs. Kim went to hug her son and Mr. Kim followed. A small group hug from his loving parents is just what Seungmin needed. He smiled.

"I'll miss you." He said quietly.

"We'll miss you too, baby. But you can always call and text us." His mother said.

"Yes, even though we will be traveling now that our baby is in college, we will fly right home the second you need us, okay?" Mr. Kim said. He wanted his son to know that they would be there for him like they always have been.

Flashback-
Growing up, Seungmin was the youngest of four kids, all boys. He was always babied by his parents and protected by his older brothers. No one dared to cross the older 3 Kim brothers, so Seungmin was able to mostly live a bully-free life. Even when he came out as gay by accident to his family, they showed him nothing but love.

He hadn't meant to come out yet, but he had just met a new boy at school, and he immediately developed a crush. At dinner, he confessed his feelings when his parents asked about his day. His eyes widened, and he looked up, seeing the smiling faces of his family.

"Seungmin, you're gay?" His father asked. He gulped, nodding his head.

"Oh, my gosh! My baby has a crush!" His mother squealed. She got up to give her son a hug, squeezing him tight.

He looked up and broke the hug, "Y-you're not mad?" His mother looked sadly at him.

"Seungmin, why would we be mad?" His dad asked.

His mother spoke up once more, "Seungminnie, we could never be mad at you for anything, especially about who you develop feelings for. You can't control who you love, and if that someone is the same gender, then so be it. We will welcome whoever you bring home with open arms. Being gay doesn't change that you are still our sweet boy." Seungmin cried. His mom hugged him once again.

Soon enough, his dad and brothers joined the hug to comfort the baby of their family. "I love all of you." Seungmin told his family.
End flashback

Seungmin smiled, "Thanks, dad." He hugged both his parents.

Just then, the door opened, and a boy who looked about the same age as Seungmin walked in. He was a few inches taller, dark brown hair falling onto his forehead, the ends reaching his beautiful brown fox like eyes.

Seungmin watched as the boy brought in his suitcase and walked to the unclaimed bed by his. Mr and Mrs Kim watched their baby be awestruck while looking at the boy who they assumed was his roommate.
